The manager’George’ is a super guy and you can tell by the restaurant! Our first visit (late to the plate) but will definitely be back! Thank for a super meal and great service!

My husband and I had dinner with our son and daughter-in-law last night at Upper Deck. Our server Nicola was so friendly and accommodating. She was attentive and helpful. We had delicious appetizers - try the cauliflower bites, calamari and the WINGS! Everything was fresh...and tasty. We had salmon for our mains and it was well prepared and plated. Our kids had massive cheeseburgers which looked delicious. Everything was delivered when we wanted it and the whole experience was great. All this on the covered patio! This tap house is well worth visiting!More

9 of us “Bikers” showed up on a Sunday afternoon and they followed Covid rules to a T, a few of our guys complained about not being able to have 5 at a table but the management stuck to their rules. It was refreshing to...see. The server was super attentive and what we thought was just going to be a quick bite turned into a really great meal. Their chutneys and aioli’s made it so much better than we expected. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.More

My husband and I recently picked up take-out from Upper Deck. Fast,friendly service. We ordered the Reuben with side salad. Good sized portions and still hot when we got it home. The discounted pick-up price was an added bonus.

Four of us went for lunch, first time for everyone. Good size place with patio. Server very friendly and accommodating. Prices are little pricy for bar food but inline with other places these days. Too windy to sit on patio but looks like a nice...area come spring. Cauliflower bites were good, chicken wrap with sweet potatoe fries was enjoyable. Steak sandwich with fries, steak was a bit tough. Reuben sandwich was tasty with fries. Will return to try some of their other menu items.More

I've been to the upper deck previously and had an OK time. However, when my sister, my friends and my father went to enjoy a father's day lunch, we were pleasantly introduced to Emma. Emma is by far one of the most standout and genuine...servers that you could ask for. An incredibly personable server who you can tell thoroughly enjoys working with people. The owners are lucky that I'm no longer in the hospitality business or else I'd certainly be trying to poach someone as standout as Emma. Kudos to Emma! We absolutely love her and will be going out of our way to be served by her again.More

We really like this restaurant. Service is good and so is the food. Window seating along the far wall is great. Its nice to go into a busy restaurant off a busy street and get a nice relaxing view.

Having had a great experience in the past, my family and I decided to go back. Granted it had been about a year between visits, we had high expectations. My stir fry was bland and nothing special. We had an older gentleman with us who...needed a straw, they - of course - had none because they were "saving the turtles." Older people and people with disabilities may need straws to drink their pop / water / etc. Especially seeing their glasses are quite heavy. While it may be noble to jump on the bandwagon, perhaps they should have something to accommodate these individuals. Very disappointed with the recent visit and we won't be going back any time soon.More

We sat inside as it was windy but the outside area looked very inviting. The food was excellent and the service efficient. We enjoyed our first visit sufficiently to return 2 days later for another meal which was equally good.

Went there for a birthday dinner last night with 8 people including 2 young children. The food was delicious! Everyone had something different and each person loved what they ordered! The service was excellent. All of the staff were extremely friendly!

We really enjoy dining at The Upper Deck Taphouse & Grill. It has a relaxed, casual atmosphere and is an attractive restaurant with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the creek, a separate dining area, as well as a bar area with big screen tv's to...watch the latest games. And in the summertime, their outdoor patio is a fantastic place to enjoy the fresh air while overlooking the valley with Twelve Mile Creek far below. My husband had the Crispy falafel platter with hummus, pita bites, pickled cabbage, greens & creamy cucumber dressing, and I decided to have the Chicken and Brie sandwich. Both were excellent! We have eaten here in the past as well, and have also immensely enjoyed the Asian Stir Fry, the Arugula Salad and the Warm Mushroom Goat Cheese Salad. Their menu is quite extensive and the service that we received was wonderful. We will be back!More

A good sized restaurant located at one end of a small shopping plaza with lots of available parking. Inside ambiance is very nicely laid out with lots of light coming in through the floor to ceiling windows. Also has a nice sized outdoor patio overlooking...lots of greenery. Hostess sat us immediately with menus and server was quick to the table for drink orders. Two sided menu with a very large selection to choose from. Our ordered hamburgers were simply amazing. A very huge and juicy meat patty perfectly cooked that came with fresh cut lettuce, tomato, onions and pickle in between a very nicely baked bun. The meat patty is so well seasoned and cooked, that even with all the condiments, the delicious taste of the patty comes thru with flying colours. Best burger by far eaten in a very long time. Our accompanying side salads were of nice size with lots of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers etc.. deliciously complimented with the salad dressing. Server was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Will definitely return here every time we revisit this city.More
