We had a pre-theater lunch here and everything was first-rate. The food, service, decor and even the washrooms were top-notch. My husband ordered the Big Alley Mac Burger and I ordered the daily Meat and Bread. Wow. The taste, the texture and the freshness is...More

Great food, service and ambience. We stopped for a pre-theater meal and we're very glad we did. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts was excellent. Excellent wine list as well. Highly recommended.

We almost walked on by - feeling the blacked out windows to be somewhat uninviting, but as we passed the adjoining gorgeous little alleyway populated with tables and abundant foliage - we promptly made a u-turn and went in. And are we SO glad we...More

Lovely restaurant with great food. Our server was wonderful and the food arrived promptly and as described. The fish and chips and Mezzo plate were hits at our table.

We had lunch on the outdoor / patio. The chicken legs with coleslaw and veggies was amazing. The chicken salad sandwich with salad was also really good. This was our second visit and we will be back soon. We koved the discount for locals

We had pre-theatre dinner on the patio and it was excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the veg was clever and flavourful. The wine list is accessible with some really special finds. The Smoking Negroni was a hit.

My party of six went here for lunch, and we all enjoyed our meal, including the vegan. The beer selection is quite good, too.

Description
For three decades The Keystone Alley Café has continually evolved, from its start as a small coffee shop into the popular casual fine dining restaurant that you see today. The Keystone Alley Cafe was named after the well-known Keystone Bakery located on these premises earlier. The 'alley' in the current name describes the area adjacent to the restaurant used for patio dining in the summer months. The Keystone Alley Cafe strives to provide a family style menu of fresh, bold flavoured foods, while supporting locally and sustainably. Over the years, many improvements have been made, including the addition of the "Key'd Inn", a spacious two bedroom suite rental situated above the restaurant.
