This was our first visit to Keystone Alley and we will definitely be returning! Our family was seated in the patio "alley" surrounded by plants and vines where we enjoyed an exemplary lunch, including a Ploughman's Platter, a feast for the eyes as well as those with a refined palate. The flavours and textures such as smoked duck breast, pork... More

A long-time favorite of ours, Keystone Alley received new owners earlier in 2016. Our first visit in September was gratifying. Wonderful service with hostess (Barb) providing a warm welcome. Given that it was a warm, even hot day, we both ordered chilled gazpacho which was delicious, with a unique texture and taste, not the usual tomato-based flavor. My wife had... More

My friend and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner before going to the theatre. We were lucky enough to get a last minute reservation. The meal was delightful! Our server Kate was extremely friendly and very knowledgable about both the wines and the dishes. Her recommendations were spot on! The Chef is excellent and created fresh takes on classic comfort food.... More

The visit to this restaurant was our first since it has only opened with new owners in June 2016. We were absolutely delighted with everything - the friendly reception when booking, the reception when we arrived a little late, the table we were assigned and the informative friendly attention from our waiter/owner Anthony. We ordered the "Ploughman's lunch" and some... More

Group of 9, required to submit orders days ahead (weird). Food was good, presentation nice. The Crème Brule was served cold - said that's how they do it. Service was a little slow, appetizers arrived before drinks. Very close to Avon Theater. Would eat there again if we didn't have to do an advance order.

Hi there, to address your concerns and to offer further clarification, we ask for pre-orders for large groups during the festival season, as there is a full restaurant of people who all want to eat and get to the theatre at the same time. We do not do this to inconvenience you, however to help ensure we provide the highest... More

Keystone Alley has new owners and they are off to a good start, carrying on the tradition of good food at affordable prices. Our group of fourteen diners descended on the restaurant for an 8.00 PM reservation and the Keystone crew looked after us perfectly. We had actually pre-ordered our appetizers and mains, so the kitchen was right on top... More

Description
For three decades The Keystone Alley Café has continually evolved, from its start as a small coffee shop into the popular casual fine dining restaurant that you see today. The Keystone Alley Cafe was named after the well-known Keystone Bakery located on these premises earlier. The 'alley' in the current name describes the area adjacent to the restaurant used for patio dining in the summer months. The Keystone Alley Cafe strives to provide a family style menu of fresh, bold flavoured foods, while supporting locally and sustainably. Over the years, many improvements have been made, including the addition of the "Key'd Inn", a spacious two bedroom suite rental situated above the restaurant.
