Very accommodating, kind and helpful on the phone. Willing to deliver to a hotel! Amazing food! Very generous.

WOW ! How incredibly DISAPPOINTED we were with our order tonight. First time trying this place, and based on decent reviews as we are new to this city. We ordered nachos with chicken, which was missing the chicken, and the tortilla chips were extremely stale....I'm sorry but when you pay $ 55.00 bucks for an order that includes nachos and chicken, you kinda expect the chicken to be there. Also in the order was an enchilada plate... green sauce was a tiny splash discovered finally at the bottom... and the enchiladas resembled a few small taquitos I used to buy at 711 . Is the point of enchiladas not a sauce all up on top? And if the order was "chicken" enchiladas, would there not be a noticeable amount of chicken in them? Ending this horrible meal was a churro with caramel sauce . So imagine getting the teeniest tiniest take-out cup , half filled with caramel to dip your doughy churro in... might have been enough sauce for a few bites .... but never finished it ...because it too was hardly edible. If I could give this order / restaurant a - 1 negative rating I would.... This was $55 bucks I could have spent at 711 for a year of taquitos that would have been completely way more satisfying than this. My daughter literally has taken 3 Tums within one hour of eating from here. Never in a million years will I recommend this place to anyone ! I hope the manager/owner see's this post and ditches his bag of stale tortilla chips... Any restaurant that screws up simple order of nacho's has issues.More
A great little restaurant nestled in the hub of the downtown Sudbury. the great ambiance reminding me of a small little pub in Mexico. The food is so authentic it brought me back to Mexico. I had the Tacos Dorados with salad and lemon rice...after a hot bowl of chicken rice soup.. it truly is a gem and more people should visit it. Off to Mexico for a month but will drop back in when I return as the waitress is from Puerto VallartaMore
True Mexican food done by a real Mexican chef! Food is always fresh, tastes great and the staff is courteous and aim to please. Downtown location makes it convenient. Very cozy atmosphere with sit down seating. The place is decorated with traditional Mexican objects. Big...windows let you look outside at the busy corner of Elm and Elgin Streets but is mellow and relaxing inside. They have real Mexican pop and if you fancy something a little stronger, they are a licensed establishment.More
I have been to Mexico and tasted good from Mexican friends.. This place doesn't match up, not even to what I have tasted from Mexican people. The restaurant seems dirty when you get in the place. Only one person working in the restaurant. He was...the waiter and the cook. But the the food had no real taste. I have tried food from family's plate. It wasn't better ether. How can your miss nachos... I don't recommend this place. They need to get a great Mexican cook and clean up the place. Don't waste your time and money over there. I love Mexican food but this place doesn't represent the Mexican heritage.. Sorry that I couldn't write something positive about my visit.More
La Casa Mexicana brings you away from the traditional Tex-Mex food typically served in Canada. The food is varied and delicious. Service is great and food is authentic. Me gusto mucho.
Service was very fast, food and service were good. Good place for a quick bite but not for an evening out.
We had a great time at this pleasant mom & pop shop on Elgin at Elm Street adjacent to the School of Architecture. Limited seating - be careful if you have a large group and call ahead. My wife had a burrito and I had...the chilis rellenos. Also had Modelo Blanca and a Modelo Negra. Soup comes first with a small bowl of salsa and nachos. More than enough on one plate at this restaurant - no need for appetizers. Food id hearty and very good. The waitress was very pleasant and was comfortable helping us with my broken Spanish. She made sure we got our order in before an extremely large group (12 people) so that we did not have a long delay in getting our food. Prices are a little high for the calibre of restaurant. Parking can be a challenge in the downtown area - - street and meters.More
This is by far the best Mexican food I have had in a long time! The staff are wonderful and always smiling. The good is full of flavor and the portion sizes are perfect ❤ I can't believe I have read reviews saying anything different....These folk may want to give it another shot because this place is wonderful! I appreciate the atmosphere when I walk in the door I truly feel happy. The colours, the staff and the overall vibe is incredible! You guys rock, we will be back and back and back again!More
This is a very good Mexican restaurant that is my go to place while in Sudbury to taste some (almost) Mexican food. While I can taste some sweet flavours that are somehow more of a tex-mex style of food, I enjoy the presentation of the...dishes that are traditional from there. I have to mention it’s been a while since my previous visit and this time I noticed the menu has been cut short, so no more chiles rellenos in the menu (sadly). All in all, is a nice place to visit to have some Mexican nostalgia.More
I have eaten here several times over the years, and consequently had many of thier dishes. I've been to Mexico and have a sister in law who is Mexican. La Casa's food is as I got/get at her house. Authentic and good!
We came here late at night with another couple and we enjoyed the food. It's as authentic as it gets here in Sudbury. Really small place but at least the food was good. I found it a little pricey but not too crazy either.
Authentic Mexican food prepared well. Its right in the middle of the downtown core and usually has a table open. the food is good quality and prepared well.
This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had!!! Everything was very bland and had no flavor at all!!! Everything tasted old and micowaved....
Wanted truly authentic Mexican and was not disappointed. The location was a bit sketchy but once inside it was quite quaint. The Margarita was delicious, we were surprised and delighted to have homemade soup as part of our meal. Large portions and excellent authentic Mexican....Do not judge this restaurant by the surroundings. Worth the trip downtown. You won't be disappointed.More
