Cute little place, somewhat dark but a neat vibe anyway. Right across from the train station so it was fun to watch the trains. We had the Brie bomb which was amazing! Hubby got a pizza that he really enjoyed and I got a grilled chicken sandwich which was really good too. The homemade Caesar dressing is awesome! Great service.

My friend and I had a delicious dinner at The Laughing Buddha — we shared the bad ass bao, the cool beans and the miso salad. Our server (Sarah D) was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the place so much that we stopped by the next day for coffee and a snack of their focaccia with honey and butter. Yum!

My husband I had a fantastic dinner at the Laughing Buddha. I would highly recommend the Buddha bowl - I had it with tofu which was seasoned and grilled to perfection! My husband had the falafel wrap which was also very tasty. The patio is quite spacious and they have umbrellas in case of rain. We didn’t have a reservation and waited about 20 mins for a table on a sat night around 6:30. Highly recommend!

My family visited in early September on a weeknight for dinner. We waited approximately 20 mins to be seated at a table. We placed our order and ended up waiting more than an hour for our meals. We have two small kids (5 & 8 yrs old) who were very hungry and agitated. I asked our server twice to see what the problem was but we continued to wait. Finally, we had enough and I asked to pay for our app & drinks that had come out. There was no offer to comp us for these items. I barely got an apology from our server.

Nothing special, a little disappointed. It was hard to find something to eat that was vegan and gf. The pizza was very basic, it could have been amazing but you could tell there was no effort in it. The margarita pizza came with 3 pieces of tomato and a couples pieces of basil. I was excited to try this place but don’t think I’ll be going back.

Private function group of about 15.
Mainly a pub with entrees and main plates. Funky and interesting atmosphere.
I had the Buddha Pizza which I enjoyed.
My wife had the Nachos which were cheesey and loaded. Very tasty.
My daughter had a spinach pizza which she thought needed more sauce.
My sister in law had a rice bowl that she enjoyed.
We had one alcoholic drink. For the 4 of us it came to 100.00. I thought the prices were good in comparison to the food.
Food was a bit slow coming out of the kitchen.
Definitely a good find for us.

This restaurant located near the downtown Core was recommended to us.
It didn’t disappoint.
It’s a trendy restaurant catering more towards the vegetarian clientele, but being a carnivore I was pleasantly surprised. It has a very eclectic menu with many interesting choices.
Well spaced indoor tables and a great patio make this a Covid friendly place.
Definitely recommended.

Traveling through Sudbury, went here for takeout pizza because of the good reviews.
Cute names for the pizzas though not exactly enlightening (the Holy Cow is a pepperoni?).
Surprisingly fast and friendly service at pickup, but seems it was quick because the pizza was badly undercooked. No sign that the cheese has ever melted and the toppings were almost raw (the Llama Rama pizza).
A bit on the small side for the price, and pretty tasteless since undercooked.
Reviews suggest they do good food, but not this night.

Arrived at the Laughing Buddha an hour early and it was closed....NOT FOR LONG as the owner, a wonderful smiling lady learned of our 10 hour drive and weariness and so generously agreed to serve us drinks on the patio while we waited for opening hours. WOW, you do not get that very often anywhere! We sat in the very spacious outdoor patio under an umbrella. Potted herbs could be found around the patio which we assumed were for the kitchen eventually. Cold drinks ordered and delivered and we spent the best part of an hour chatting with the owner about how COVID has affected us all especially restaurants. Such a warm and interesting person.
Ordered our dinner specials (filet mignon) and sandwiches which were delicious. Staff were superb and super friendly. Another round of local beers and off to our hotel for a good sleep and travel onwards the next day. Thanks to the Laughing Buddha for making our day, from the weary travellers from BC

We are on a 2 week road trip and this was first evening on road. Due to Covid we wanted to eat in a Patio. Thanks to Trip advisor they show those restaurants separately.They do not take reservations , I called said they were not busy but good to come sooner than later, which we did. The hostess told us where to park free, from the outside it looks like the patio is on the sidewalk but actually there are many tables along the side and in back, very nice. Found out they were dog friendly. Service was excellent and we had the Buddha Bowls, lots of food and tasty. Would highly recommend. before Covid we did a lot of travelling and I would rank this near the top of many restaurants

This place was probably a 4.5, but Trip Advisor does not give me that option, and it was not quite a 5, but please go enjoy a meal here. There was live music over the dinner hour for easy listening inside or outside, friendly staff, lots of different beer on tap and a menu mix between healthy and pub style choices. Funky ambiance inside with a surprising amount of rooms and space.

We try to eat at Laughing Buddha whenever we’re in Sudbury. Great food with lots of options for people with dietary restrictions. We love their chick pea salad. Service was slightly slow but it was busy due to a Wolves game.

I have to admit, being a long time resident of Sudbury and this was my first visit. I was stopping in for a drink with an out of town business guest. He actually suggested the spot after doing a few internet searches.
Had an Italian Soda for the first time.
Reasonably priced. Great atmosphere.

Brought the family here for dinner and had a great time! Service food and music was all phenomenal. I really enjoy the deep fried pickles and nachos! My little ones has hummus and veggies which they devoured!
