We have stopped here both last year and again this year on our way home from fishing outside of Foleyet. This is a go to place, pizza is excellent and always done as ordered. Greek salad excellent as well. We are very spoiled by living in the Niagara region in Ontario and having great chicken wings but this establishment does not know how to make good wings, don’t bother ordering them. Will be stopping here again next year.

Everyone raved about the pizzas! They were delish!

Beautifully fresh pizza, fully loaded with delicious toppings. We had combo 3, two small, not really very small, pizzas with 3 toppings each. Delivered hot, sooner than expected by a very nice delivery guy. I am visiting from Scotland and will be using Great Lakes again. They were recommended by the next door neighbour, she was right

Say No to the meatball sub the worst meat ball sub ever! went to put bbq sauce on the sub opened it to find 3 small frozen not hot cut up meatballs on a huge sub bun not toasted sad looking sandwich but I took a bite before throwing it out huge disappointment and even sadder I went and looked at the reviews and there has been disappointment expressed by many for the last couple of YEARS and yet the problem has not been addressed and they are still selling them! Take a look for yourself on the reviews and photos of the meatball sub at Great Lakes Pizza.. If you can't fix the sub take it off the menu quit serving it !

Thank you for posting your review on our Meatball Sub. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it and am rather surprised that you’ve posted your unhappiness with it to 2 social media outlets. I realize that some people may not like our food products, in your case the Meatball Sub, and that is part of doing business. Many restaurants have menu items their customers don’t like, and I can appreciate that. However, I won’t take your suggestion that I remove the sub from our menu based on your review - we sell upwards of 6 dozen subs a week. If it was truly that bad, as you say, it would have been removed from the menu years ago. My only suggestion to you is to perhaps order any other food item we offer - one of your other posts said you enjoy our pizza, please order that so you can be happy again!

Placed an order for delivery. Waited an hour then called again to inquire where my order was since this was the third time an order from them took forever to be delivered. When I told him I was advised of a 45 min delivery time he claimed that because it was saturday night and I was near the edge of their delivery area I should be understanding. When I said my understanding goes out the window when I get cold pizza he gave me more excuses as to why they should be forgiven for taking so long. I told him to just cancel my order. He started to huff and act like I was the problem. No appology just excuses. I've ordered from this plavce many times but never again. Terrible customer service and absolutely no accuntability.

I was concerned when I read your review on us - believe me, the estimated delivery time we quote is rarely exceeded - unless something causes it to be so. Regardless, after reading your comments about worrying that you may receive cold pizza, I can assure you that would not be the case. Regardless of when you order, we time the cook as to when we are able to deliver it, be it immediately or delay cooking for 20 minutes. There is a misconception that once you order, it is cooked and sits on our oven, not so. I would hope you can give us a chance to earn your business back as you did mention you have ordered from us “many times”, and I assume you have been happy with the service and product. We are not a perfect business, no one is, and things do happen that we should properly communicate to our customers, if that is the case. I apologize for the inconvenience you had that evening, and I hope you may give us another chance. Thanks as well for posting your review - good or bad, we need to hear from our customers so we can avoid future issues and correct them.

My family has been a regular client of this location for a few years now. Today, June 8, we were very disappointed. We ordered our regular L-pep and L-Deluxe; the Deluxe had such a thin « crust » you couldn’t pick up a slice. Did workers stretch a medium ball of dough to make a Large?
I picked up our order and once we got home and saw what we had, I called to complain but couldn’t get through.
It’s really disappointing to end a busy work day, ordering dinner for a family of 5, only to find that someone did not think it worth their time to correct their mistake before sending out an inadequate food product to a customer buying their dinner. Customers’ time and money are as valuable as the workers’.
Disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on us. I was disappointed in reading that since you and your family have been a happy customer of ours for many years, it was only now that you decided to post a 1 Star Review after this single issue. I do understand that we are not perfect and that we, like all businesses, have issues but it’s more important in how we handle these issues when they arise when dealing with customer complaints. I have to disagree with your statement that you called us and couldn’t get thru - that is not true. You were spoken to, offered an immediate full order replacement, which you declined, and were then offered a gift certificate for your order to be mailed and used at your convenience at a later date. I do understand how disappointing it is to not receive or enjoy something you have spent hard earned money on, but please give us the proper respect that we deserve in your case. Social media is every businesses best friend and worst enemy, but only helps when the facts are accurate and are worthy of posting.

This is probably the best pizza in Sudbury and when we are up this way we always pick up a few walk in special to take home. The thin crust is delicious and thin! Whatever pizza sauce they use taste like pizza I’ve had in New York City. Always hot, fresh and good!

ordered a pizza on Thursday night from south end great lakes. when I got home I found the pizza was cold over cooked. Looked like it had been sitting on the oven for hours. Had to throw it out.
Never had a problem before so i hope this was just a one time mistake

I was sorry that you didn’t have a good experience at our South End location - I will forward your comments to my Manager there for his review. I was confused how the pizza “looked like it had been sitting on the oven for hours”, yet was cold. I’m not sure what happened, but do encourage all of our customers to call us right away if there is ever an issue, so we can make it right. Ordered take out delivery. Excellent customer service...Phone order was excellent. ..delivery was fast and delivery guy was awesome!

We really enjoyed the Truly Canadiana Pizza and Greek salad. Tasted fresh made with quality salad ingredients. Nice hot delicious Pizza! And the delivery guy was so polite and pleasant! He complimented my large spruce tree in front of our house. We love our tree too. Thanks!

Their delivery guys are the best. Not just the quality of pizza is premium but the taste and freshness of it makes my day. Specifically, I wanted to write this review for the delivery guy, Raj. He is such a cheerful person who always make the memory of Great Lakes even better for me. Love his smile and his personality. Everything about Great Lakes Pizza is beyond amazing.

Just want to give the staff at great lakes pizza on LaSalle 2 thumbs up haven't had such a good pizza in a long time. Was getting so disappointed in all these restaurants that haven't been putting any effort or passion in there food. But on February 8th I finally got to taste it thank you

without fail, I have ordered many times and have not been disappointed. Greek salad best take out or dine in salad I have had. Love the Mexican pizza, great portion of toppings that are distributed equitably. Delivery is quick and friendly. would highly recommend. A++

Some of the best pizza ever. Better than every chain joint that for sure!!!
The dipping sauce is the cherry on top but still amazing besides!
Definitely more than just a faze, it’s my go to!!!!
