We went for breakfast at 10 am Saturday and it was very crowded and noisy. The restaurant is divided down the middle. Table and chairs on either side. But I found it rather small and had room for 1 person walking down the aisle. I ordered the 3 blueberry pancakes $9.99. You get 3 huge pancakes and they were delicious. My hubby had the sunset western $8.99. The food was good and so was the service. I liked that there was a server walking around and topping up people’s coffee. They have high chairs and and outdoor patio area.

Every time I visit this location the staff are always so friendly and efficient. Every meal I've had has been very good, from the early morning breakfast specials, through to lunch, such as their very filling tuna sandwich. Eggs Benedict and corned beef hash are also delicious. This is my choice for best breakfast in Scarborough.

Steak and Eggs is a favourite of mine and after busy work day in bad weather I stopped in here for that particular favourite for lunch. The diner was pretty busy but there wasn't a wait to be seated. The food was delicious, the steak was cooked perfectly and eggs and potatoes were fantastic. My only problem was that once I had finished I waited a long time before I got my bill. Still a place I would definitely go again if I'm in the mood for Steak and Eggs.

The breakfast restaurant was full except for maybe 2 tables when we arrived before 9:30AM on Victoria Day. The hostess could have seated us in the middle of the dining area (we passed an empty table) but we were led to the farthest table at the back. It was not a nice spot--the table was set too close beside another 4-seater table with a narrow aisle in between. We were in a sad, cramped, windowless corner in a mostly bright restaurant.
Beverage order was taken as soon as we were handed the menu. Our coffee ($2.25) and hot chocolate ($3.49) were brought to the table within 5 mins and our food order was promptly taken. We each ordered an all-day breakfast: 3 eggs with home fries and toast. We asked for bacon with over easy eggs and brown toast ($8.99), sausages with scrambled eggs and white toast ($8.99) and peameal bacon with scrambled eggs and brown toast ($9.99). The server was cheerful, and coffee refill was offered as we waited.
For a simple breakfast meal, wait time was unacceptably long—over half an hour. Our beverages were cold by the time our food arrived. To add to my annoyance, the table in front of ours got their food immediately after we got ours, and we have been sitting inside the restaurant about 15 mins longer than these people. Was our order misplaced? Hard to believe as it was entered into a handheld device, supposedly transmitted instantly. We also had to start eating with just forks, apparently all knives were in the dishwasher.
In summary: lousy table, long wait, cheerful staff, cutlery shortage, average food. We are not coming back.

my lady and I went one morning for breakfast. To be honest I don't like the place because its a small place and the staff are nice for the most part. The owner, if he is the owner. Is a very nice guy.
Now lets get to the food, I am not sure but Eggs Florentine is normally pouched eggs. At this place they are fried, Not sure why.
Then there is Salmon Eggs Sunset, that should be eggs benedict with salmon but the reason they don't call it that is once again they are fried.
Then there is there pancakes if you want to call them that, make sure you eat them hot or they are hard to eat.
Then at the end, you get the BILL that to me is over priced food.
An OK place if your in a rush and you cant think of some where else to go and the staff is family for the most part.

I was impressed with the service. They were very pleasant.
I think they had the most ingredients in my western I've ever had.
Coffee is delicious.
Lots of parking.
Great for a business meeting.

My husband and I had come here many times only to face a line up and never stayed. Today, no line up so we finally got to try the food here. We were not let down; the portions were huge (I could only eat half of the Sunset Super @ a cost of $7.99) and the prices were really great compared to other places we have been for breakfast. The prices of most items seemed quite reasonable and portions were really huge. The food was great. We will definitely be going back!!!

Let me start by saying the portions are quite generous but you can also find lighter items on the menu. This is definitely a brunch place. You get typical bacon (5 strips!) and eggs (3) home fries and toast or you can select from the omlets menu, pancakes and fruits, burgers , sandwiches and salats , eggs Benny , freshly squeezed juices and bottomless coffee. A kids menu is also available. Service was friendly and quite quick. I definitely recommend this place!

We went for a group breakfast this morning - service was extremely slow and some of our orders were completly wrong..... once food arrived was good and portion size was good. Very slow in getting our bills too. So if you don't mind waiting then check it out.

Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
