The pho was okay but compared to other noddle place in the downtown it was about 30 per cent higher. I would say it is not a place for dating or family. Maybe lunch or quick bite

Everything was OK. Udon soup was good. Lemon chicken was good. Waitress was very busy. i couldn't get a regular soup to eat the soup, just the Chinese ladle. Overal, OK.

Since my last visit I have changed my opinion of this eatery. Now I advise you to stay away. There is an open window or two along Bloor Street that lets in gasoline fumes and the like. Hot or warm water with out ice is served as soon as they greet you at the table. No air conditioning at all... More

The service is very different, there is nothing special about this place or the service. Very boring place! But the food is not bad actually, I had Tom Yum soup with shrimps and Pad Thai dish both were ok and edible :) - not a very cheap place, medium prices. It is a 30 mins max place.. Come order eat... I decided to visit this place as it was close to my studio and I needed some tlc for my cold. I chose the noodle soup with BBQ chicken for 9.99. It was a generous sized portion but what I discovered is that the chicken is manufactured to appear like large pieces of chicken complete with skin but is made... More

The bowls are big so sharing makes sense. The flavours are different but enjoyable. There is not too much variety but what is on the menu tasted good.

This was my second visit here in over a year. I came away from eating dinner very disappointed this time. I do not recommend that you go there unless the problems mentioned in this review are addressed and remedied. People were sleeping on a near by table when we were here last month for dinner. The inside window along Bloor... More

Service was meh, tables were mostly dirty. I had a small bowl of wonton soup. The wontons were good, the broth was ok, the bok choi looked like it could have been washed a little more. Then, the "cold rolls" came out. In brief, it is mixed greens with vermicelli noodles wrapped in a dry wonton wrapper and served with... More

The menu was in Chinese with English subtitles. The employees turned out hundreds, if not thousands of noodles daily. We ordered a variety of food, and were told that the pork wontons were the best, and they were. We also ordered soup... This was way too much food. We did not have a fridge in our room, but were able... More

Okay ... the food is very cheap, and caters to the student population. That being said - the orders were wrong, the waitress argued with us when we brought this to her attention. I can only wonder how my partner's meal morphed from beef and rice to a bowl of sloppy noodles with boiled beef on it ... YUK!!!! It... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
