We ordered Summerlicious to go last night They were very apologetic that there was a delay of only 5 minutes .. .as the food was just being packed. It was so hot when we got it home .. even the fries The place was nicely busy .. so glad to see that people are appreciating this wonderful venue. The steak was amazing, the chicken was amazing, the eggplant was amazing.. i was a bit uncertain about the polenta - not something i would chose - but it was also amazing The jus that chef makes to highlight each meat is soooo good W e have eaten in and had take out, at different times I cannot say enough about this restaurant ... CONSISTENTLY AMAZING.

Nord Bistro went take out/delivery only with the onset of the Covid pandemic. Ordering is easy (by phone) and if you do pick-up they bring it out to you (curbside). The food has continued to be top-notch throughout! We miss eating in, the restaurant has a cozy, personal, feel to it. But if we can't eat in, then takeaway is the next best thing.

My daughter, met my husband and I at Nord which is a couple of blocks from our home. We were greeted by a friendly man who sat us at the window. He shared the specials of the evening and got us our water. Warm bread was served with their house hummus which was absolutely yummy. The goat cheese salad with greens was the perfect size to share. My husbands grilled shrimp terrine had a nice fresh taste with a number of shrimp. Two of us had the generous portion of stuffed free range chicken. The combination of roasted tomato and goat cheese gave the meal a real tang taste. My husband enjoyed flank steak which can be a tricky cut, although not for Nord who produced a tender taste like a more expensive cuts. We were all too full to enjoy on of the desserts. All in all a wonderful meal of food and company.

we have had the steak, the lamb, the liver, the chicken, the pasta, the cod,and the salmon. First of all, I can't believe how consistently hot the food arrives home from the restaurant. The steak was rare- medius,m rare, exactly as ordered. Every sauce or jus of some kind had been stellar. there is nothing on their menu iI am not prepared to try... as i am convinced that everything will be top notch.

Went with my hubby and friends to Nord Bistro last Saturday night (February 29th). Yes it is small and quaint but that didn't bother any of us ! The food was amazing. Three of us had the steelhead rainbow trout and my hubby had the liver which he insisted I try....so happy I did. Everyone agreed the food was delish. I recommend this little spot.

I love this restaurant for everything they do The liver, the steak, the fish…. But today we had a rack of lamb, and a monkfish on the best asparagus/ Lemon risotto in the entire world Both dishes were being packed when we arrived, and wee piping hot when we got home (15 minute drive) This chef can just do anything and I would love it

We love to order from Nord -- we pick up ourselves, and their scheduling system is well-planned. A few weeks ago we enjoyed a melt-in-your mouth chicken supreme, stuffed with goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. The entire meal was a delight! P.S. Chef makes wine suggestions, also available for purchase, a plus!

Have been on a mission for several years now to find the perfect Bouillabaisse in Toronto and Nord wins out every time. Our homemade concoctions have been very good, with lots of saffron and fresh fish from Osler Fish Market, but there is something elusive about the Nord version that keeps us coming back.

We ordered the Three-Course Prix Fixe menu online, and it was ready for pick-up at exactly the time designated. The chef's refreshing combination of a cool, spring pea/ mint soup, followed by a delicious Mahi-Mahi steak and robust salad dinner, finished with a whipped cream - topped chocolate mocha -- was absolutely delicious. Plus: the price was amazing for this meal. We are already planning our next order, which will likely include one of their three moules frites options. Thank you Nord!

I found the restaurant to be very cramped and not comfortable. That being said if you like small places that serve good food this is the place. I enjoyed my penne with artichoke, diced tomato, cannelli bean with spinach al olio. My friend had the white wine and fresh herbs moules and frites. They have a nice selection on the menu. We were going to the Tarragon Theatre and this is a good location to eat before the theatre.

We were recently at Nord and I struggled with how to rate them because the food was excellent. Our server probably came to our table about 7 times during the meal.(Serving drinks, taking orders, asking if we wanted dessert). He did not smile once. He made zero effort to make us feel welcome. He did not even come by and ask us if we were enjoying our meal. After we paid, no one thanked us or said goodbye. I don't normally complain but I have accurately described how we were treated and it put a real damper on the evening.

Four of us enjoyed a lovely meal at this great little establishment. We partook of the Caesar salad, Steak Frites & Moules & Frites. Good wine list allowed us all to enjoy the wines of our choice by the glass. All the dishes we ordered came perfectly prepared. Ambience is warm & friendly as is the service. Lovely spot and highly recommend!

Small, but comfortable restaurant near the Tarragon Theater, so great pre-performance option. Interesting menu - the provimi liver was expertly prepared. Good sized portions, reasonable prices, excellent service. Very enjoyable. Moderate noise level. Street parking or parking lots 1 block north.

This tiny French bistro is always full and no wonder. Food is consistently good, service pleasant and efficient, and good value. Have referred many friends and no one's been disappointed yet. Worth a try.
