We actually had a reason to make the long walk to this wonderful eatery. Hubby's co-worker is a relative of the owner, and she asked us to go there and take some pictures. Got the opportunity to meet the delightful Sicilian gentleman who owns this restaurant. Like all good Italians he is very proud of his heritage, and glad to... More

Great cannoli freshly filled with good flavour. The ice cream of course and the tartuffi are fantastic. Nice sidewalk patio in summer.

So that morning as we walked along College looking for a breakfast spot, we came across this gem. As we settled into a table on their patio, we were given both of their menus - breakfast and their everyday one. How decadent to have so many flavours of ice cream (how could we possibly choose?) and on waffles/crepes yet -... More

I've been to the Sicilian several times and it's always the perfect place for a relaxing gathering with friends.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, and great staff! I have been several times, and I have never been let down! Oh! And they make the best cannoli in town! Regular, pistachio, and Nutella! 😊

This place has more varieties of ice cream than you can imagine. Great family atmosphere, a good choice on a hot summer night.

I visited with friends one night then went back the next with my wife as we were in the area. The restaurant is known for gelato but I'm not sure if that's what they actually put into their crepes. Seems like regular vanilla ice cream that I can buy at the local grocery, and not the expensive stuff either. My... More

Crepes and Waffles are delicious and filling. Nicely presentable. Only thing I would complain about is the service and their lattes.

Great Sunday afternoon to check things out at the Italian Fest on College street. We came across this place and we were promptly accommodated at a table by the terrace. A very courteous waitress took our orders and within a few minutes we were furnished with home made sangria, a large dish of antipasti and a prosciutto sandwich. Nice and... More

We had some great gelato here on a sunny June Sunday afternoon. This is a charming and inviting restaurant, apparently the oldest gelato place in Toronto. You can sit down or take your selection to go. A must see in Little Italy!

Thank John K

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
