My girlfriend, uncle and I are here for dinner. The Caesar salad was delicious and the Gavi wine was incredible! I had a pasta dish with meat sauce that was great as well. I really enjoyed the atmosphere

The atmosphere here is friendly and a little piece of Italy. Pizzas are excellent but also try the pasta or specials. I've been several times over the past 4 years and have always had a good experience. Servers knowledgable. Don't miss dessert.

My family met here for dinner last Saturday evening at 6:30 PM. The place is very nice. Actually quite attractive for a night out on the town. The problem was that they were extremely busy! And extremely noisy! And the food was good to poor. I had pasta with meat sauce. Very ordinary. Two people had pizza. They didn't finish... More

We had reserved but we still had to wait about 30 mins for a table. The hostess and staff were very good about it and apologised profusely. The food was excellent and the service good. The restaurant is quite noisy. Suggest that a Saturday may not be the best time if you need a reasonably peaceful meal. And for sure... More

While I have to admit that this place is really hopping and alive, there is a lot to be desired when it comes to the food. We (5) family visited this restaurant on a Friday night and given the crowd, we expected something better than mediocre pasta and pizza. Added to that was mediocre service. The atmosphere though is rather... More

The restaurant is beautiful. There are so many windows and the ceiling is so high that the room feels so spacious, yet it's very cozy and welcoming. Everything we ordered was executed perfectly. To start, the fritto misto was lightly floured and fried and perfectly salted. The pescatora was a fantastic pasta dish with a good amount of seafood and... More

We like Capocaccia, but the restaurant has its limitations. The pizzas are quite good, as are the salads, but the main course menu is limited. Despite this, the place remains a good choice for dining in mid-town Toronto.

We came here for a dinner with colleagues. Service was friendly but maybe not the quickest. The food was good and we had our dinner in a nice atmosphere.

We have been going to Capocaccia for years and love it every time. The food is fabulous, the service is warm and attentive, yet never overbearing. The food, no matter what we order, is always delicious, hot and fresh. Capocaccia is one of our favorites for sure!!

The restaurant has an updated and trendy decor. The service was good. All four of us had individual pizzas as well as salads. My wife and I shared the seafood salad but we wish that we had just had one of them per person. The bill for the four of us with two bottles of wine was $210 plus tip.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
