I had lunch last week at Moxie’s near Pearson airport with a former colleague and noted to him that there were no prices on my menu. I thought that perhaps it was a throwback to olden days when the lady did not receive a menu with prices.
My table companion pointed out that the prices were indeed posted in “mousetype”, had no $ sign and a $8.75 salad showed as 8 3/4!!
What is that? The server (who was excellent) responded to my query, said that the management wanted the clientele to focus on the selection not the price.
Really? I’ve dined in 2 star Michelin restaurants and their menus always feature the price.
They really must think people are stupid. Ridiculous veiled attempt to fool the customer.

I travelled from Jamaica to Toronto and had a 14hr layover and stayed at the Sandman Signature Toronto Airport Hotel with the Moxies connected to the hotel, went here for a late Dinner. I had the Cheeseburger with Fries and a Rum and Coke. Service to be seated was fast and friendly. I sat on the enclosed patio. My waiter was quick to take my order and my food was prepared and served very quick. The food was delicious and a great value for the amount of food. It was $35 for my food, drink and 18% tip. Overall very satisfied with my dinner and would highly recommend eating here. With Covid-19 they do take your name and phone number so if they are alerted of a case in their restaurant they can alert you once you are gone. All staff wore masks and was very sanitary.

We always have supper at Moxie's the night before we leave for our winter trip so we stopped by on January 24 and had a great supper with great service from Sebastian. The Burger was excellent as was the mango chicken. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding for me and a bite of brownie for my wife.
We went back to Moxie's when we got back to Toronto...why bother trying to find a good restaurant when you are sure to get a great meal and service at Moxie's. Our server the second time was John and when we mentioned we had just come back from vacation and were having an anti-celebration, he brought us some champagne to "celebrate"..a nice touch and much appreciated. Our supper was excellent as well!
We will definitely be back!!

We had a group of 25 people today. Sebastian and Breanna handled with speed and professionalism!!! We never felt like we had to wait for anything. Drinks were refilled with our asking and the food came out delicious. I under it was Breanna’s first large crowd...she’s a natural!!! Thank you.

Was in Toronto for a layover and had a chance to try out a Moxies by the airport. Was BLOWN AWAY by the level of service from our waiter John. My wife and I came in tired, and a little cranky from the inconveniences we experienced during our travels, but we left full, in good spirits (admittedly, mildly intoxicated). He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and he even drew us a map to a local drug store. We ordered a number of apps which were all great - the mosaic dip and chicken lettuce wraps being my favourites. Don't normally post reviews but John suggested we do so if we had anything we wanted to share about our experience. Even the young gentleman and lady at the front desk were all smiles and very pleasant. Luca and Theo. Will be back, next time in Toronto

First time visit to Moxie's. Impressed. Restaurant was clean. It was busy but not overwhelming or too loud. Great booth set up and I was able to see the kitchen through the observation window wall which was kinda cool. Food was excellent. Jordan was my server. He was very genuine, personable, and attentive. The desert he recommended, sticky toffee pudding, did not disappoint. They also make a mean strawberry hard lemonade ... thank you Jordan!
Only area for improvement would be cleanliness of the individual bathroom stalls in the women's washroom.

Was excited to come to this patio since I haven’t had it since before lockdown. Our server Dalena was very friendly and made one of our first meals at a restaurant more enjoyable with how efficient she was. The food was so tasty, and we of course had to get the white chocolate brownie coming here. I will definitely come back - this patio and service was amazing after being closed for so long.

We went tonight and definitely wouldn’t return. The lighting was so dark we all had to read the menus with the flashlight on the phone. We ordered the nachos, which were nice, but within 5 minutes of receiving it all our mains arrived. We told them we would like them after the nachos, so the put our meals under warming lights! Needless to say my meal was stone cold when it arrived 20 minutes later. It was replaced, 10 minutes later with a totally inedible substitution. I’d ordered the soup/salad which was so salty it was unbearable. We had to ask the waitress on numerous occasions for water or a refill, as none of these were offered. All in all one of the worst meals we’ve had this trip.

This was the first time I went out since probably last October and it was my first time at this moxies location and what a night it was. First I want to talk about my server Raz, he was fun energetic, he knew what he was talking about and knew the menu inside and out. The food was phenomenal along side my server. But Raz, definitely took the show. I recommended this location to a bunch of friends and I will be back there.

Went for my wife’s birthday dinner a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night. We had a table reserved in the dining section and literally everyone had to pull out a cell phone flashlight to view the menu at 830 pm. The lights were incredibly dim, we asked for candles but they never came. We had a party of 8, my chicken sandwich was the last dinner to be served, I waited for about 5 minutes after everyone was served and finally received my sandwich. Two bites in and I was like whoa! It tasted stringy and rubbery. I pulled out my cell phone flashlight and voila! I was eating a piece of tendon from a thigh!! It was cooked terribly and the breading was not even sticking to the meat nicely. I couldn’t eat any further and told the waitress, they didn’t charge me for me meal but the damage was done. In the future if the kitchen runs out of chicken breast don’t try and improvise, be honest with the customer, I would have ordered something else.

Came to Moxies by the airport and was served by John. SPECTACULAR service!! He suggested the baby back ribs and white chocolate brownie and also suggested an iron chef dish which was pasta with chicken mushrooms and a cream sauce made with wine. Food was very good but the hospitality was amazing!! Great vibe in this place!

Attended this location for a casual business meeting. Was greeted by the bartender CJ. I'm very indecisive when it comes to wine and food. Cj took the initiative to recommend a few great California wines that paired perfectly with my Calamari and Shrimp tacos. Thank you for your great service and keep on smiling!!

It is located at a very quiet place – no crowd, no traffic, no parking fees.
Their food tastes great, and I really like their non-alcoholic cocktail (except Virgin Caesar, please be careful trying that one).
Overall, I think the food worths the price.

We were served by a lovely young lady named Madi, she was so sweet, kind and courteous. She would check up on us at regular intervals with genuine care and concern. I had my first Moxies experience yesterday and thankfully it won’t be the last thanks to Madi and the bartender! The food was great and the ambience was relaxing. My friend and I were treated so well. Welldone Moxies Yorkdale ❤️

As usual when we fly from YYZ for both business and vacation we stay at the Sandman because it’s convient and the Moxies has great food onsite. This time we had Aizaz serve us which was UNREAL! He was a great server giving recommendations and suggestions.
We enjoyed the Tuna Sushi Stack, Blackened Shrimp Tacos and Chicken Lettuce Wraps as well as the Red Sangria and Big Life Lager. All of which was amazing and he helped suggest
Of course we will be back when we depart but next time will ask for Aizaz !
