Libretto's pizza has a very good crust. Toppings are toppings...but in my opinion it is the crust that makes the pizza. Their crust is the same as the crust we had at the best pizza restaurant in Naples Italy.

We of course had pizza and it was delicious. I got jealous of the others because they could eat with their hands and I had to use my fork and knife ;) The reason was that my pizza was very soggy but I assume this is not the usual case as it was only mine. I say it is because... More

Amazing experience! My boyfriend and I made reservations (which I would recommend) this friday. We ordered the fried gnocchi as an appetizers and 2 different pizza. Everything was delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Great pizza cooked in wood oven. Libretto has several locations but stick to the original. Their all wood oven makes a difference. Food and service great. Unusually fine wine list with tastings if you're not sure. If you like spice, the sausage pie is perfect. This place is outstanding destination for lunch or extremely casual dinner.

Good pizza margherita with San Marzano tomato topping. Gelato is smooth, creamy and full of taste. Sit at the bar. Bartender proud of the food and the place. Good value food, service, ambiance.

If you think that you can eat a real good Italian pizza only in Roma you are wrong; you can eat a very goid one in Greektown/Toronto! Bravo! Delicious taste, excellent service, friendly staff!

My wife and I came here after reading some reviews. We were not disappointed! The waitress was extremely helpful and the fixed price menu for lunch was a good deal--$21 for pizza, drink, and dessert. On first sight, the pizzas seem to lack the amount and variety meat you usually find. However, don't worry about it. My pizza had some... More

We were here at 5pm on a Saturday night, just before the crowds started to arrive. Server was very quick and helpful. We ordered 2 beers and decided to split a salad, pizza and dessert. Pizza was just average, nothing special. I have had pizza with more flavor at low priced chain pizza shops. Based on the price I was... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
