Sadly our Amaya at Yonge and Lawrence is gone but we ate there regularly. Love the butter chicken and garlic naan. Great for take out.

Lunch with friends on a Saturday, the restaurant was very quiet. Yet staff was not on point. Table was not wiped down and we were first ones in for the day. Food was mediocre. It's not typical of the Amaya experience at the Amaya Indian...More

Decided to try their food. They were quite generous with the portions at the show. We went with the butter chicken and rice. I have to say it was excellent. Sometimes butter chicken can be a little rich for my liking but this was really...More

The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived still the waiter wanted us to sit in dingy corner near the noisy kitchen. The food took long to come- the roti was just uncooked flour. The waiter was unapologetic for the mishap. They even made us...More

We ordered a Lamb Jalfrezi and chicken Korma. Both were very good. The sauces were made ahead of time and when you choose the meat, they just add the sauce. Korma sauce was very rich. We came here using a Groupon coupon. Here are some...More

Went on a Thursday evening. Restaurant was fairly empty. We were greeted and seated immediately. One page menu which IMHO is a sign the chef has a narrower focus and generally equals to way better food. Server was generally attentive and made good suggestions. We...More
