I have taken customers to this restaurant often. The ambiance and staff are excellent. Perfect for business lunches or dinners Baton Rouge's chef presents s with wonderful delicious specials creatively made. If you want that supreme steak or mouth watering ribs this is the place to be.

We celebrate a special occasion once a year at this Baton Rouge and keep coming back, so they are doing something right. The bbq pork back ribs are the best that I have had anywhere and I order them every time we are there. And the baked potato that they serve with it with everything on is a real delicacy.... More

Our boss traveled to Toronto to take my co-worker and I out for a Holiday Lunch. Our boss has frequented different Baton Rouge locations in Ottawa, Hull and other locations and always has had a very good experience. I have eaten at the downtown location and have had good experiences as well. We both were extremely disappointed in our experience... More

My friend invited us there to celebrate. We were in the basement. We had a set menu and with 2 choices for appetizer and 4 choices for the main course. I had beef soup and salmon with coleslaw. My soup tasted like minestrone soup. There were some white stuff in it, I thought they were meat, but they were fat... More

Baton Rouge is one of my favourite restaurants for spare ribs and their Santa Fe chicken however this trip was by far the worst meal I have ever had at a Baton Rouge. My chicken was undercooked (very pink), the veggies were nearly raw and the cranberry ginger ale I ordered tasted like plastic bottle...I had to send it back... More

I went for dinner with a big group from work. When we go there, they are a special area reserved for us, which was amazing. They had quite a few waiters to serve our big group and they were amazing. Didn't have to wait for a drink at all. The food was very good and we had lots of fun.

My son had the chipotle chicken & I had the burger. We received the food, but, you could tell they were short staffed. Food took a lot of time to arrive & fries came cold. What was bothersome, was fighting the fruit flies while we were eating. We did mention to the person we waved down to finally get our... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
