Get the Eclair!!! It’s out of this world. Their chef is a food wizard 🧙🏼‍♂️ to have come up with this dish. Other things we ate... wedge salad (comes with steak), foie tortone (with passionfruit), spring carbonara (lick the plate), bone marrow (do a shot...More

I don't dispute the qualiy of the dishes, but the quantity and value for money is another story. Seriously, a $22 charcuterie plate that doesn't include bread and has some paper thin meat slices (even thinner than paper in some cases). An order of bread...More

I've been wanting to visit the Hoof for a while now. Given the history of this place and the number of Toronto chefs who have passed through this kitchen, I went in with high expectations and was not disappointed. Went with a friend on a...More

A wonderful discovery highly recommended by a local butcher (thanks Jerry)! As advertised, it was a truly "nose to tail" restaurant. We had the Bone Marrow, a first for me, and it was very tasty, I will definite order it again but a much larger...More

I suppose it depends on your mindset when you arrive - do you expect the absolute finest food available in Toronto (perhaps Canoe?) or a completely immersive dining experience (maybe O.Noir?). Well, The Black Hoof is at neither end of the spectrum, but is a...More

Went on a Friday night. Place doesn’t take reservations but we found a spot for two. Very cool/fun vibe, a bit loud though. Food was excellent - I had the Foie Torchon, Bone Marrow, Horse Tartare and Tuna Crudo. Each dish was incredible. Dishes are...More

The black hoof has had a great history but the new chef James Santon has now taken it over the top. His menu is clever, playful and full of culinary surprises. Highly recommend. Absolutely amazing attention to detail. Great food

This is not your typical restaurant. This is a bistro you would probably just pass by without even realizing it's there. However don't. Yes, it is hipster, weird and a little bit on a decadent side but it is a great experience for every bit...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination

flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
