My pizza had a burnt, cardboard-like base and the cheese topping was not what an excellent pizza should be.

This outlet has a nice and helpful staff and a great selection of Pizza's. Try out the thin crust Pizza's. Awesome.

The pizza has fat dripping from it. The toppings taste terrible. The apple cake was an inedible sugary frozen cardboard which should not be served. We will not be back.

I stopped by for a quick slice of pizza and I was underwhelmed. Their pizza may be "Traditional" but it sure isn't "Gourmet." The service was indifferent and my slice of pizza was so-so. Nothing to write home about.

The young man behind the counter was exceptionally nice, but the food and the variety sitting out was poor in our opinion.

From the machine pressed, frozen cardboard crust, to the disgusting toppings (they couldn't even get the order right), this abomination bears no resemblance to pizza. Frozen DiGiorno would have been better.

Most important: a tomato sauce that is delicious, combined with a crust which has the right consistency and thickness. All the various ingredients are good quality and tasty. We use them regularly. Hard to find a better Pizza in Toronto. Il Fornello also very good, but eat in and more expensive.

Had their meatball pizza and caesar salad delivered. Delivery was record-breaking fast, but the food itself was hugely disappointing. The pizza's crust was soggy, and the meatballs were bland. The caesar salad was also a let-down, particularly the rather flavourless dressing. The place was new to us, and we hoped it would be a nice addition to our portfolio of... More

Have no idea how they could have possibly survive since 1957. It took so long to get my pizza I think they may have started to make it in 1957, not to mention it tasted like it was made in 1957. Cold and tasteless. With so many other competitive pizza places, I will never be ordering from this place again.

orderred their beef tenderloin, a bit disappointed as a first impression. This is a specialty, expect a lot of flavour.....just a bit short of flavours......dominant taste is definetely the beef....did not detect the caramelized onions.......or any significant sauce.....as always I would try them again, with a traditional to see the real story......had the mediteranean salad, was ok, could have had... Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
