I queued outside here for almost an hour and a half Sunday for what was supposed to be an amazing breakfast, how disappointed was I the breakfast was just standard nothing special great coffee though. The staff were very very very attentive anything you wanted they got for you but sadly they didn't get me a good breakfast.

My husband and I used to like this place a lot and were frequent there. However, per our two recent visits, we feel like the quality of the food is not as it used to be for the dishes that we always order. I am not sure what has changed (management, chef?) or maybe our taste! Still, this is a... More

Not the best location and a below average set up inside. Coffee was good, but not convinced by the menu, eggs benny too many ways and little other choice! What came was fine but nothing special and not worth the trip out of downtown in my mind!

This place I have been wanting to try for the longest time and it was bookmarked on Yelp but I finally got to try out the food here. The lineups here are a bit long, Sunday afternoon around 12pm we waited around 30-45 minutes. BIG NOTE, this place accepts cash only so make sure you bring some $$. The restaurant... More

Small place but big taste. Locals were lined up to get the table and that was enough for me to jump into the line with wife and my two young kids turned out it was well worth it. Their moroccon omelette was great. My wife orderd some scramble and she loved it too. From drinks to food, everything was perfect.

We got there early and still had to line up. It was worth the wait. I had the daily special eggs Benedict with cheese curds, back bacon, and chipotle mayo and it was delicious. My wife had another eggs Benedict with bacon and avocado; also a win. We were tempted to order the apple caramel bread pudding because it looked... More

We have been going to lady marmalade since it opened. The restaurant is consistent after many years, there are still lineups, and it's it's worth the wait. My favourite dish is the Eggs Benny (Brie, Bacon and Avocado) and special mention goes to the AM poutine, house salad dressing and hot sauce. A must if you like Eggs Benny! We... More

I took my fiance here for a birthday brunch and let me tell you we were amazed! To start, the coffee is great. Nothing Uber fancy just nice quality coffee. The brunch options are great. We split on the eggs Benny special and the AM poutine with an extra poachrd egg. Both were phenomenal. My fiancee is veggie, no land... More

I had late breakfast with my family. The food was delicious & amazing. We tried the meatball soup, benedict with brie and spinach and other things.really it s worth to try it. Luckily it was near us. The only problem is that the restaurant is small and always full so it was noisy.

Great spot for lunch. This place prides itself on simple well cooked food. Good choice on the menu. All day breakfast. Make your own benny's I had freshly pressed apple juice and the huevos style breakfast. Not there is no wifi which is actually a good thing because you can have a decent conversation. The I

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
