We were walking around Queen looking for somewhere to eat and stopped in here. It was completely empty, so we were skeptical. The sushi was amazing, top notch! I highly recommend the Spicy Salmon roll & Salmon Pizza. An interesting note about the atmosphere - there was a very notable soundtrack playing during our meal, which included songs by Elvis,... This was our go-to sushi place while living in Toronto. Have had many experiences there and they were always positive. Love the crunch soup that you get (for free) to start. Everything is always fresh. One time (out of about 15) it was less than great, but all other times good value for your money and friendly staff.

An unpretentious restaurant in a local neighborhood on Queen St. The agedashi tofu was perfectly made with a crispy exterior. The Rocky Mountain roll(Seared Salmon on spicy Salmon Roll w/jalapeño,and special sauce) lived up to its reputation. The Black Dragon roll was also excellent. The shrimp tempura was artistically prepared and delicious. The presentation was excellent and fish was very... More

Four of us had dinner and overall is a good experience. I had a spicy seafood udon. The flavour of the soup was good and the seafood was reasonable abundant as well as a good size bowl. The only criticism I would offer is that the squid was a bit too tough. The other three shared a few rolls (spicy... More

My wife and I visited to-ne sushi last week and loved the food. The service seemed to be a little slow, but the restaurant was at capacity.

I have NEVER been a fan of sushi, because I prefer my food hot and well cooked, so the thought of eating raw, cold fish was not something my palate could accept. Fortunately for me, my bestie is a sushi fiend and she convinced me to give in and try it one more time. We ate at To-ne Sushi, one... More

We walked for a long while in search for good Japanese restaurant for lunch and after reviewing Trip Advisor, we decided to give this small eatery a try. Initially, I have my doubts as the whole team at the sushi bar including the servers, were Koreans. Seems like a Korean eatery more than Japanese. Our server has problems understanding us,... More

On a business trip and found To-Ne Sushi bar on Trip Advisor, within easy walking distance of my hotel (Alexandra) in this transitional neighborhood. I was greeted warmly by the staff, and seated immediately (the place was quiet on a Monday night). I ordered the special Deluxe Sashima, 18 pieces beautifully presented. The wasabi was very creamy and dissolved well... More

We go to to-ne sushi regularly as a nice couple's dinner. Sushi is consistenly excellent, fresh, well prepared and well presented. Their tempura is as light and tasty as it should be. Busy place, not cheap, but the best affordable sushi we know in Toronto. Their lunch specials are a good deal if you work in the area. Recommended!
