We have been going to this location since it opened and have never had a bad meal. There has been times YEARS ago we seemed it was a bit rushed but that is not the case in the past couple years. Breakfast is super and...well priced and the dinner offerings are very tasty and vast. Wonderful staff to boot.More

Been to the beach location several times. Food is consistently exceptional. The staff Mo (Maureen) and Janice are friendly, accommodating and helpful. I am working my way through the breakfast/brunch menu as best I can. Next stop, dinner! A must go to for an6 visitor...to Toronto.More

A group of six discerning foodies wanted a place to brunch on Sunday. Vivetha Bistro completely stepped up to the plate. The menu offers MANY viable options. The service is spectacular. I can't speak highly enough of how wonderful a meal - ANY meal -...is, at Vivetha. I know that Sue, Mark, and their guests from CT will agree. I love this place.More

The staff are great. They are the only good thing. The place is definitely past its prime. There is no love in the food. For the price and quality there is a lot better out there.

Bought the chicken fettuccini, shrimp linguini as well as the mussels. No flavour with the shrimp, literally tastes of noodle and the shrimp still had the shell on it and for an over priced pasta they only put 3 shrimp in. Sauce tasted like it...came from the grocery store. The chicken was over powered with pesto paste and no other flavour. They put bacon in the mussels and that’s just ridiculous. The whole idea is to enjoy the fruit of the sea. I’m Italian and raised with the food. I would never spend my money on that place ever again. A refund would be suffice then I’d be satisfied. Food went into the garbage. Can tell the cooks we’re not Italians at all. Terrible.More

We love this restaurant and it’s been a while since we’ve eaten there. Consistently amazing. Great staff. I had the wild mushroom salad and the huge scallops with leeks, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil with spaghettini. Yummy.

Not our first Brunch at VIVETHA, but the most recent. This week we enjoyed a late morning week day brunch at VIVETHA's. Excellent Eggs Benedict -- 3 eggs. And look for red-haired Janice, who sizes up your mood, and serves brunch accordingly. Not intrusive, attentive....On the way out I saw an 'EARLY BIRD SPECIAL sign, served between 8:00 A.M. - 10 A.M. for $8. --Next time.More

My friends and I had a lovely brunch at Vivetha last Sunday and as always the service and food was the best - I would give 10 stars if I could. One of my friends is gluten intolerant and while most restaurants have a couple...of options Vivetha had tons of options for her. As I have been coming here for years and have tried pretty much all of the different food selections, all of which are delicious, my only complaint is how does one choose from all of these options? But Vivetha has a solution for that too with the offering of a mixed platter for brunch. If you're looking for fantastic food with outstanding and friendly service in a wonderful atmosphere then I highly recommend! I can't wait to go back!More

It was the first time in a long time that my friend and I decided to have dinner at our favourite restaurant in the Beach in Toronto because of COVID-19 restrictions.. The restaurant offered a set menu that included wine but we do not drink....We asked if we could substitute the wine for a coffee. The waitress said yes but our server will be by soon. The server, Chris, advised us that absolutely no substitutes are allowed. and that she is senior to the waitresses that told us otherwise.. Apparently she then checked with the restaurant founder Siva T. Chris was supposed to let us know if we could have the coffee instead. Eventually, We left without eating after about a half hour of waiting for some one take our order. Very bad and toxic experience for us.More

My family and I recently went for dinner and had a terrible experience. The service was non existent. Every time we needed something including to order our food we had to hale over very reluctant servers. In addition to the poor service the food was...thrown together with stale bread, wilted lettuce and overcooked vegetables. I'll never be back!More

Loved this place for years and then 2 years ago, moved to a condo right across the street. These folks are like family. Any and every item on the menu is fantastic. Daily soups to die for. Fresh, fast, delicious and very reasonably-priced. Daily specials...and seafood options are always outstanding. During this pandemic situation, they are well-organized, efficient and extremely conscientious about cleanliness and sanitizing. Always with a smile! It is my go-to when I am asked for a restaurant recommendation. Never disappoints!More

As a member of the feature film and television community in Toronto, when a restaurant is found that our crew enjoys, other departments are informed, and we remain loyal. Vivetha Bistro is one of those eateries. Great meals, service, and atmosphere. Thank you for all...of the delicious meals and a cup of sass, on occasion. See you soon.More

I have had a few lunches and a few breakfast here and it has always a great experience. The ladies who run the dinning room greet everyone with a friendly smile and seem to know everyone anyhow. The have a big menu and the food...comes hot, well presented and huge portions. The bistro is small so expect some wait at high times. I am a big fan!More

If you don't live in the Beach, Vivetha is about as far as you can go and still imagine you are in Toronto - at the end of the Queen Streetcar line. There is no television and the music is barely audible. You can talk...to your friends without any distractions. They have about two dozen pasta dishes on offer - it was hard to choose. My friends and I all chose different dishes and we finished them all - it was all delicious and tasted nice and fresh. Their wine was also reasonably priced. I finished with a passable slice of key lime pie. It won't win any awards but it satisfied. Service was pleasant on a cold winter night.More
