If you live in the "Beach" neighbourhood or anywhere in the city of Toronto, this is a go to spot. A small neighbourhood bistro that offers good service, (friendly if they get to know you), very good value, and excellent, well presented meals, for breakfast lunch and dinner. They offer a wide selection of "Eggs Benedict", selections and several creative... More

I enjoyed a relaxed and tasty dinner with friends at this local cozy spot. Nice variety of dishes, all prepared to order. Large portions. And the price is right. Don't miss the grilled veggies.

This is the only place I like to eat in the Beach, pretty much, with a few other places. Vivetha serves great food at reasonable prices, and I especially like their $8 burger plate (one heck of a deal), and their all-day breakfast items. Everything is fresh, and most items come with fruit as well. You cannot go wrong here.

This is my 'goto' restaurant for breakfast. The have an early bird special (weekdays only) for $4.99 that is perfect..2 eggs, bcon or sausage, toast or home fries and 3 pieces of fruit. Also, potato pancakes are very good. Mo and Maddie are fantastic wait staff and keep you well looked after

It had been awhile since we last went to this quaint bistro in the Beach. We remembered the great dining and cozy atmosphere- what happened? My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and choose to got o Vivetha. After Martinis we ordered a half litre of house wine. Dinner was served but the wine did not come until our... More

We always love coming here for lunch because the value and food are great. Reservations are a good idea because it is a popular place. Today I had the Chicken and Shrimp Thai Salad and it was awesome. My husband had the burger as he always does. A large plate for a very reasonable price. $9, I think! The menu... More

There were 5 of us - we arrived at 4:30 and had a book club meeting, and then dinner. It was lovely, quiet, well lit for the book club part, we had wine (I had coffee), and talked without having to strain to hear. There was hardly anyone else in the place. Perfect. And then dinner. For a vegetarian the... More

Just moved into the hood and looking for a go to weekend brunch spot. We found it! French toast with marscapone cheese, blueberries and cream was delicious. Lots of fresh fruit too, no skimping on portions! Cheese, bacon and mushroom omelette was also excellent, again no skimping on the ingredients in the omelette. Service was swift and friendly. Excellent value... More

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
