This is an excellent authentic Japanese restaurant. The service is excellent; the staff are knowledgeable and pleasant. The place is always busy, so make reservations. The food is excellent all around.

A word to begin: we met the owner of this establishment when he was the sushi chef elsewhere, actually much closer to our home. That said we gladly make the trip which now takes at least 45 minutes to enjoy Danny's food. It is always fresh and flavourful and while not served quickly, I feel it is worth the wait!... More

Despite the cosy streetview and the false sense of Japanese authenticity, the food is standard at best. The slideshow on the TV ruins the whole vibe with outdated and unprofessional photos rubning on repeat. There is no hesitation taking a latecomer but expect a 15 minute delay between waiter sightings and in between dishes! We received our last dish in... More

Unless you have nothing better than do and not hungry, there were only four or five tables but it took the chef 1 hour to make a roll...I felt very sorry for the server as he did his very best to explain the menu and follow up on our food order. Although we don't understand what the chef and the... More

Took 3 hours to get all food on table, while there were only 4 tables of clients, very slow!! The waiter scared us not to push the chef otherwise the quality will reduce. Price was expensive related to its quality of food. Foods are not special, just buffet quality. Price was very high. Not worth going. Never will go again!!

This is a nice little neighbourhood Japanese restaurant with a surprising amount of variety. We enjoyed the Toro and Chu-Toro, and both were great! Even the Chu-Toro had a great oily-ness to it. We had some skewers (Robota) as well which was tasty (especially the pork belly which had a nice kick to it). The only dish I didn't like... More

Came here once to check this place out bc it was recommended by a friend. They had a good selection of traditional sushi as well as some fusion mixed ones. Overall, the sushi was good, but its not the freshest i've had.

Amazing food. Fresh and exciting flavours. High end sushi. Large menu selection. Small, cozy restaurant. Reservation recommended especially on weekends

When we first walked in the staff does a lot of yelling and screaming – felt like Moe’s Southwest Grill in the US – “Welcome to Moe’s”! Of course, the overly friendly greeting does not jibe with the cost of the meal. Classic rock and roll in the background music also didn’t seem to “fit the mood”. It’s a Sake... More

My brother and I took our mom here for her birthday in March. We hadn't been back here for a while so we thought it'd be nice to try it out again. We came on a Tuesday evening and we were extremely surprised to find the place packed. Luckily, we made a reservation and got a seat right next to... More
