You can’t get a decent smoked meat sandwich in Hamilton, so we drove to Hogtown to get one. I’ve been looking forward to trying Caplansky’s since seeing it featured on both of those food shows... I ordered the smoked meat sandwich with latkes on the...More

Waited just a bit too long before a server came by. The smoked sandwich was comprised of 2 very small slices of rye bread and the meat portion was just as small. The fries were not served hot but only warm-- big portion however. The...More

ate here while staying at a nearby hotel. I had the matzah ball soup which was not good at all. I had the cooked salami sandhwich which was just ok. The bread was fresh though. Menu is pretty limited.

I love this place! It’s a great spot for friends or for a casual date night. The beer is great (thought the pickles always surprise me) and the food is remarkable. I highly recommend!

I have eaten at Caplansky's since their old days at the Monarch. I usually order either a corned beef sandwich or a Ruben. This past weekend, it was the Ruben (and a side of latkes!) It was ok, but not Caplansky quality. Reminded me more...More

Ate here with a business partner on our return home. The server was excellent, very friendly, willing to have a conversation, seemed genuine. Sometimes very rare when dining at airports.... I had the above items. The Reuben was amazing, extremely tasty, almost no fat, well...More

Went for a sandwich and it was so good, I walked 1 hour the next day to get another one. So delicious! They have a food truck as well as a location at the airport.

Had a wide selection of deli items. Deep fried pickles were so addictive. The smoke meat sandwich delicious. This is probably not a place your heart would like to see too often but as a treat its a lot of fun.

We ordered matzo ball soup and it was okay but the bits or carrots in it tasted like they were frozen. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and the tomato sweet BBQ sauce is soaked on the meat and it tasted like it was microwaved....More

I appreciate your taking the time to post even if I'm sorry we disappointed you. The veggies in the matzo ball soup are never frozen so I'm not sure why they would taste like that but I'll look into it. We don't have a microwave...More
