Not having room service, the Sheraton Hotel recommended Quinn's/Shopsy's for breakfast but they refused room delivery also. So I went to Shopsy's and ordered a take out breakfast. It was expensive and did not include coffee. It came in a box that looked like they...had scrapped a plate into the box. It was an ugly mess! Worse eggs were way over cooked. I put the whole business in the trash. I went without breakfast that morning.More

We held a team get-together at Quinn’s last week (Dec 2021). About 25 people. Mike was our coordinator and was awesome. Made it easy to book and figure out the menu - everything via email. On the night of the event, we had a private...room, which was perfect given the Covid operating environment. The food was great, the service was amazing, and it was quite reasonably-priced. Shoutout to our server, Yvonne, for going above-and-beyond by finding me a Bluetooth speaker so that we could play some Christmas music during the event. Would do it again without hesitation.More

My daughter loves lobster Mac and cheese so we splurged and ordered it. Nova Scotian Lobster the menu says…. What came? Imitation crab meat mac and cheese. When I asked the waiter, I was told it’s lobster flavour. Really? For $28? Not a single piece...of real lobster. Disappointed. The mac and cheese itself was delicious! But the fake meat, at least tell us before ordering you’re out of lobster.More

We held a group event here recently and have had nothing but positives feedback from everyone. From start to finish Quinn’s were a pleasure to deal with, especially Mike who was so quick to reply and covered every question we had. Food on the night...was excellent. Just held our first group event in 2 years. Delighted to be back at Quinn's. As always, our group of 70 was greeted with a warm welcome. The team is friendly and accommodating. We'll return again and again.

Great service! Excellent escargot, shrimp martini ( Great cocktail sauce!) , rib eye. Attentive service. Highly recommended.

Was in for a couple of drinks with some work friends. Got a cider, there was a smell off the glass i was given. Closed up fairly early but unhelpful when we askes where else would be open in the area. I didnt want to...go back again another night but a colleague did, again we just had the one and were rushed out. Wouldnt recommended it and unlikely ever to go back in for a drink when I'm back in Toronto. Go elsewhereMore

Definitely experienced a combination or racism/classism while dining here during winterlicious. All the other tables were served promptly, had water brought to their table, and had normal sized meals. On the other hand, we were seated in the far corner of the restaurant, and it...took us an hour to just order, our meals and drinks were made incorrectly, and no one checked on us once. The table next to us ordered the same thing, but they received prompt service, constant check ups, and a very friendly staff. If you don't happen to be born white, don't dine here.More

My wife and I had the opportunuty to eat at Quinn's twice during a weekend stay at the Sheraton. Boths evenings were a nice change from the rush of people in Toronto. First night I had a Sirloin steak to perfection\wife had chicken (terrific) and...the following night a flat steak (again cooked to perfection) and the wife had the hamburger (best hamburger for a long time). Staff were terrific, not a place to go to if your looking for fast food. Great place to enjoy a quiet mealMore

One of my favourite restaurants in downtown Toronto and did not disappoint again. Excellent Wagyu bavette steak and creme brulee for dessert will keep me coming back. The bartender should learn how to layer a black and tan beer properly though....More

The food is good, but.....they should listen to the customer. After an exhausting day, I wanted a relaxing time. I ordered a double scotch and told my very courteous server that I was not in a hurry - would order dinner and wine later. When...she arrived with my drink, I again indicated that I was not in a hurry; and I asked for bread. She brought bread and and I ordered my dinner, again saying I was not in a hurry. Big mistake. I had just put down my drink and out came dinner delivered by someone other than my server - and it was cold!! Obviously the kitchen didn't care or didn't understand what "I am not in a hurry" means. It was as if the alternate server was watching me enjoy my drink with my food order in his hand, prepared far too soon, getting colder by the second. The moment I put my drink down, dinner arrived. My original server was nowhere to be seen - I had not yet ordered wine. She came over 5 minutes later and I ordered complaining that dinner came too soon. She said she held it as long as she could. The place was empty except for two other tables!! Did they all have a plane to catch? The manager - who looked like a 20 year old - came over 5 minutes later and asked if I was finished, wanting to take my plate. I said I wasn't finished. After another five minutes he returned taking my plate and asked how everything was! I let him know. He walked away. All in all, I arrived at about 6:30 and was finished and asked for the cheque at 7:20. Unbelievable. There is a lot of customer service they must clean up - mostly - listen to the customer. Very poor management.More
