Was in for a couple of drinks with some work friends. Got a cider, there was a smell off the glass i was given. Closed up fairly early but unhelpful when we askes where else would be open in the area. I didnt want to...go back again another night but a colleague did, again we just had the one and were rushed out. Wouldnt recommended it and unlikely ever to go back in for a drink when I'm back in Toronto. Go elsewhereMore

Definitely experienced a combination or racism/classism while dining here during winterlicious. All the other tables were served promptly, had water brought to their table, and had normal sized meals. On the other hand, we were seated in the far corner of the restaurant, and it...took us an hour to just order, our meals and drinks were made incorrectly, and no one checked on us once. The table next to us ordered the same thing, but they received prompt service, constant check ups, and a very friendly staff. If you don't happen to be born white, don't dine here.More

My wife and I had the opportunuty to eat at Quinn's twice during a weekend stay at the Sheraton. Boths evenings were a nice change from the rush of people in Toronto. First night I had a Sirloin steak to perfection\wife had chicken (terrific) and...the following night a flat steak (again cooked to perfection) and the wife had the hamburger (best hamburger for a long time). Staff were terrific, not a place to go to if your looking for fast food. Great place to enjoy a quiet mealMore

One of my favourite restaurants in downtown Toronto and did not disappoint again. Excellent Wagyu bavette steak and creme brulee for dessert will keep me coming back. The bartender should learn how to layer a black and tan beer properly though....More

The food is good, but.....they should listen to the customer. After an exhausting day, I wanted a relaxing time. I ordered a double scotch and told my very courteous server that I was not in a hurry - would order dinner and wine later. When...she arrived with my drink, I again indicated that I was not in a hurry; and I asked for bread. She brought bread and and I ordered my dinner, again saying I was not in a hurry. Big mistake. I had just put down my drink and out came dinner delivered by someone other than my server - and it was cold!! Obviously the kitchen didn't care or didn't understand what "I am not in a hurry" means. It was as if the alternate server was watching me enjoy my drink with my food order in his hand, prepared far too soon, getting colder by the second. The moment I put my drink down, dinner arrived. My original server was nowhere to be seen - I had not yet ordered wine. She came over 5 minutes later and I ordered complaining that dinner came too soon. She said she held it as long as she could. The place was empty except for two other tables!! Did they all have a plane to catch? The manager - who looked like a 20 year old - came over 5 minutes later and asked if I was finished, wanting to take my plate. I said I wasn't finished. After another five minutes he returned taking my plate and asked how everything was! I let him know. He walked away. All in all, I arrived at about 6:30 and was finished and asked for the cheque at 7:20. Unbelievable. There is a lot of customer service they must clean up - mostly - listen to the customer. Very poor management.More

Gavin, Mike, Grainne and their fabulous team hosted our Annual fundraising event again this year for our 5th year in a row. Everything from booking, planning a menu, securing and setting up a sound system was seamless. They just seem to know what we need...and get better year after year accommodating a very special menu to meet our needs, while making sure to offer a competitive rate. The food was delicious and service was fantastic and they went out of their way to make all our guests feel welcome and well taken care of. Quinn’s is a fabulous restaurant that has the feeling of a local despite being located in the heart of the downtown core and near lots of great shopping. A great place to take a break from the bustle of the city and have a lovely meal and drink. Thanks again, we will be back next year !!!More

Went with a group of 12 for supper. The food was very good, but service was nothing great (and slow). Each person paid their own bill, but restaurant added 15% gratuity automatically since we were a larger party, however service did not warrant that for...every person. Prices are high, for example 2 drinks is over $22 plus the automatic tip... Ordered a burger from the kids menu and was charged $4 to add bacon and cheese... that is way to much for 1 piece of each. So a child's meal which was burger and fries came to over $23 with auto tip added. That is ridiculous!More

It seemed like everything we ordered, the waitress told us we should order something different. For example, I ordered NY Strip Rare, she told me to order it medium rare. We choose a bottle of wine and she told us to buy another bottle she...said was same price but better. I didn't enjoy my steak then, and we didn't enjoy the wine. She also told us the twice baked potato was better than the mashed. It certainly wasn't good, the cheese was cold and somewhat gooey. Our vegetables were also too cold to each. She did overhear us complaining to each other that the Keg was way better, so had the "manager" speak with us and they gave us 10% off which was a nice gesture. It still even with that discount cost us more than the Keg, so we will definitely be heading there next time. It was just strange to be told everything you ordered wasn't a good choice. I don't think I have ever had that happen anywhere else.More

We are six friends and we are celebrating! YES, we are celebrating! Not only our rewarding friendship, but also the last day of a healthy and successful year. Enticed by the special 3-course New Year's Menu we enjoy an evening at Quinn's --- close to...City Hall and its New Year's Party. Food and service are splendid, so is the Prosecco and the wine. Soon our conversation moves to the next get-together and VOILA! we talk about Winterlicious -- Toronto's culinary feast in over 200 restaurants. Our New Year's resolution is welcomed by all: we will meet again at Quinn's for Winterlicious ... not only because the price is so affordable but mostly because the food is supurb, the service excellent and the ambiance comfortable with an unique flair of old-fashion hospitality. Before we leave our Winterlicious reservation is done ... we will be back for another evening of friendship, great food and conversation. Thanks to Quinn's kitchen, service and management team.More
