I am in Toronto on a business trip from Ottawa, traveling by myself. I had breakfast at Trio this morning, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Fresh, flaky croissants and hot, plentiful eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and hash browns plus assorted fruit, pastries, cereals and juices for a very reasonable price. Everything was fresh and delicious.
For supper I had their Cheese Ravioli which was divine. The creamy rosé sauce was a perfect blend of tomato-y, creamy, cheesy goodness and zucchini and onions. I ate alone, but the waitress was very kind and attentive and never felt intrusive. She's definitely a great asset for the restaurant.

We had an early evening meeting at North York Centre (6:30pm) so not much time for a leisurely dinner beforehand. Just happened upon the Trio, right inside the adjacent Novotel, and a perfectly-timed Happy Hour menu that we thoroughly enjoyed. Great prices on light appetizer food and drinks. Classy atmosphere would tempt us back for a full dinner sometime. Shoutout to our server, Ghenet, who made us feel most welcome and kept things moving along so that we weren't rushed to get to our meeting.

After many meals over 3 weeks of visits in 2024, I enjoyed good meals served by great staff. The outstanding delight of my visits was the woman server ( who hailed from east Africa). Over manny years, she especially made the effort to recognize me and my family and to anticipate our requests and needs. She was genuinely friendly. She continues to be a star. She did serve good food over many visits and years to us, but this year the kitchen product has been improved vastly.
It’s all appreciated.

I stayed for a week for business trip. The hotel service is not that amazing (air conditioning didn't work and the rooms were so hot, in deed, never was fixed) But, about restaurant service, it was SO GREAT! All the personal is so kind, nice and servicial, specially the chef Isa, he was great-kind at trying to adapt our breakfast in the most Mexican way: the taste, the service, the talk, the reception...He made us not to miss that much our country :) Definitely I will choose this option for having breakfast daily on the next year!

Went for winterlicious lunch Jan 2024. Was very disappointment with the atmosphere. Had been there many years ago when it was a beautiful restaurant, now it is a tiled space with very loud construction and bad seating. The service was wonderful. The food was ok. I was embarrassed to have brought 6 colleagues here for lunch considering the options that are available in the area and for the price.

Went for breakfast with my son during a team event, let me tell you it was the best service, kindness and generosity I have ever had from a server. Furthermore, the buffet had a good selection, and they were willing to whip something else up for you if you wanted. Would highly recommend if staying at the hotel, or even as a drop in!

I stayed at the Novotel for business for 3 weeks and ate breakfast every day at Trio as well as many dinners. The food is consistently good. It stands out because of the service! All of the staff are warm, welcoming, and go above and beyond to ensure you have a good experience.

I've been coming to this hotel for almost 3 months every month for at least 2 days to see my mom in hospital. I live in BC. The staff at trio welcomed me with open arms and Sam has been absolutely a delight with me and my husband. They are the reason I stay in the hotel. Great food, great drinks, amazing service and friendly to the core. Thank you for making my trips here so comfy and like I'm at home.

Thank you to ALL the staff but especially Adam and chef Isa. The way you received me made my day, The BEST omelet I have had in many years. The coffee late was made with love and will definitely support you for the duration of my stay. I returned with friends for dinner and they enjoyed the fish and the experience. Thank you for treating me with respect and you made my day. I can recommend your food and service . Old i have to say is THANK YOU.

Went last Friday for early breakfast with coworkers at Trio Restaurant. They serve buffet style and it was amazing and delicious! Our server Adam was very professional but friendly and funny. I strongly recommend it.

A very good meal with my cousin. Slight criticism- the very good Key Lime Pie dessert wasn't fully defrosted. Didn't spoil our enjoyment but we noticed this.

Ate at the restaurant for supper and breakfast with my children…supper portions are huge…food is created by a chef..flavors are top notch…service is outstanding…
Breakfast buffet was better tan reasonably priced…lots to choose from..oatmeal..cereals..2 kinds of pancakes..eggs..bacon and sausage…baked beans..fruits..cheese..veggies…breads..bagels…croissants homemade…muffins…and more…our server gave my kids toys and origami…so fun and I appreciated the time he took to explain the subway system..this made our flight cancellation a great joy…
We will most definitely be back…Thank you for this blessed place.

We visited with a large group over several days... Happy Hour was spectacular - the kettle chips were 100%!!
Our server was the best - she was so fun and super efficient. Best "muddy" Caesar I have had in a long time!! And the beers on tap were our favs!!
Dinners were fabulous - Cheers to Chef Mercado!
Really great experience - were coming back in a couple weeks and can't wait to see our friends at Trio!!
