If Joe Badali's is where you think of when Front St. Italian food comes to mind, The OverDraught is your go-to for authentic Irish food attached to your pre- or post-event drinking. Wooden seating, simple food/simple menu, TV's everywhere, and a plethora of booze to pick from. Not an expensive place at all. Actually, a great value place for your... More

This was our third visit to Toronto, but our first to the OverDraught pub and we were so impressed that we visited 3 times during our 4 night stay. We went for lunch on the Wednesday when the Organic lager was on promotion, then back on the Thursday night when it was fish and chips, 2 for $25, and then... More

We stopped in on the way to a Jays game. There was a girl out front advertising good prices. We just wanted a quick drink and an app. Didn't look busy so we thought there wouldn't be a problem. We were seated right away. But after 10 minutes nobody came to see us. I went and got the waitress and... More

Visited many times over the years for various occasions - consistently good food, drink and service. Ambiance is pleasing and location very convenient - fine establishment that will not disappoint.

Been coming here for over a decade to meet with friends on a Friday night. There could be more microbrews on draft but the selection has a few and the pub food is decent. Like it more than Jack Astors, which is very very noisy on a Friday night. Never had a bad experience at the 'O-D'.

Ambiance, service and atmosphere all very good. Food was good. Steak and kidney pie only came with a small salad. Not a large meal. It was very tasty tho. Our waitress was very accommodating and helpful. Would go back, but not tomorrow!!!

Great friendly service. Food is really scrumptious. Love the Irish beer menu and good selection of whisky. I spent pretty much entire afternoon there- started with lunch and was joined by some business associates. Have been going to this pub for absolutely years. Never miss the opportunity. Pity that the crab cakes are off the menu, though.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
