Buster's Sea Cove in St Lawrence Market is a very popular spot to grab some fresh seafood meals. They offer a wide variety of fresh fish, shellfish, soups, salads, and so much more. On this visit, with friends visiting from Florida, we all had sandwiches...and an order of fries. • Crab Salad Sandwich • Haddock Sandwich • Mahi Mahi Sandwich • Fries Everything was fresh and delicious. The crispy fries were more than enough for us to share. The service was efficient and friendly, and the ambiance was rustic, adding to the charm of this place. Check them out!More

Ordered Fish & Chips (Halibut) and a lobster bisque. It was the worst fish & chips I had in my life. Fish was dry, tough and tasteless. Staff missed miss my lobster bisque and when served, it was lukewarm. It's much worse than many run-of-the-mill...shops or fast food joints. Absolutely horrible. Do not fall for this tourist trap.More

I've eaten lobster rolls up and down the east coast; some are good, some not so good. The rolls at Buster's are not just bad, they are miserable. The only thing I can think of is that they must ship in frozen lobster meat, thaw...it in the plastic package it comes in then mix it with a little mayonnaise. The result is a soggy and tasteless lobster roll. STAY AWAY!!! THE WORST!!!More

Pricy but delicious. I had lobster roll, and it was quite expensive. However, the food was tasty and the portion was sizable.

The best value lunch in town!! The haddock and chips (fish and chips) is an enormous portion, easily enough for 2 people. We both ate and had ton of fries leftover. We also had a can of pop. For two enormous pieces of freshly fried...fish and a PILE of nicely seasoned fries and a drink, it was $21. Everything was so fresh. Definitely get one order for 2 people.More

All I remember is how rude the service was - they called out my number and when I got my order the guy in the counter checked every order, opened the container to check my receipt against the food in the container! How rude! Does...he think I will run away with a $40 order by someone else? He even said I should know my number whilst it’s the correct one! He’s the one who doesn’t know! So rude! Won’t be going back again!More

Hidden gem tucked in the back corner or the market. Super fresh and super fast. They take your order in line and call it in. You pay, wait a few minutes and the freshest tasting seafood you can imagine shows up. Only tried the calamari...for a snack as in between meals, but so good almost went back for more.More

Fast service on a weekday afternoon! The lobster roll comes with fries or salad for $24 including taxes. I have had lobster rolls at many places and even make my own at home. But this is my first time having one mixed with lots of...imitation crab meat.More

...more than enough grease, but otherwise a tasty sandwich. Crispy lettuce and cucumber, a fresh slice of tomato, and the star of the show, a nice-sized thick piece of halibut. Partner mine had the same thing and thought it was drab to the Nth -...he was disappointed, but I honestly enjoyed mine. Thus - the average rating. Busy place always with a line-up - so they HAVE to be satisfying most of their customers, no? **Fast food, but fried or grilled from fresh!**More

We stopped here in the St Lawrence market and had the best lobster rolls and crab cakes. The line up says it all but they hustle thru it fast.

We went to this restaurant based on the recommendations of two different guide books. We ordered the lobster roll, which was recommended. If you were from New England you will be disappointed each roll contained mostly tiny leg meat and one knuckle. If you’ve never...had a lobster roll from New England they’re not badMore

We just wanted small lunch and spotted this place. There was a long queue but service was quick & friendly. We shared a crab salad sandwich which was really tasty. It was sunny day so sat on picnic bench on outside terrace

We really enjoyed eating our way through the St. Lawrence Market. Everything we had was excellent until we got to Buster's Sea Cove. We had read great things about this stop so we were excited to try it. We are NOT complainers but this place...was awful. We ordered the Halibut and chips and were so disappointed with both the fish and the fries. I can only describe them both as mushy and flavourless. We could barely even see the fish inside the batter. We didn't finish and tossed the greasy mess in the trash. Which was sad, because it wasn't cheap. Do NOT miss all of the wonderful finds at the St. Lawrence Market but don't waste precious stomach space or cash on this place. Give it a miss.More

Great place inside the St. Lawrence Market to grab a quick bite anytime. Seafood is super fresh, cooked to order and won’t break the bank. The line of locals tell you whatever you order is going to be really good! We ordered the fried calamari...to share and there was like at least a 1/2 pound w/fries. Calamari was soft, not tough and melted in your mouth! They had a vast array of many different fish, oysters etc…. Definitely a place to get to on your list. Don’t be intimidated by the line as they provide super fast service. Staff is very friendly.More
