having eaten here a before and enjoyed the food and the ambience we came back for a second time to be served by the owner, its a husband and wife business, the wife took our order and they must of had a bad day. the service was appalling and the food equally so, she had a face that could curdle... This is my go-to now for Friday take out. They have been in business a long time and know how to treat their customers. They have a great, very reasonably priced menu and I highly recommend both take out and dine in.

A nice little place tucked away from the busy commuter district. Good menu choice and delightful staff... However... the food tasted incredibly bland, the quality of the meat was very poor and the overall taste was terrible. The cafe's strap line is "Amazing Thai Food" which is as far from reality as could be - both my husband and I... More

Found this restaurant with trip Advisor and glad we did . We just wanted a take away in our rented apartment close by to enjoy our view. The food was all really great, freshly prepared and tasted amazing. Chicken Satay and spicy beef were spot on . The portions were really generous and it was a struggle to finish it.... More

Found this cafe while wandering around, waiting for gates to open @ Rogers Centre. Outside dining. My Pad Thai was delicious. Eric seemed to be a one man show. I would dine here again, if ever I'm in Toronto again.

Nice but the dishes is a bit small, and not really spicy as it mentioned in the menu. The place is lovely though there's a place for sitting outside.

We had excellent tasting food (pad thai, spring rolls, steamed rice, vegetarian delight) , but be prepared for below average food portions. The service was very friendly, but a bit unattentive as the place had only 2 attendants serving the whole restaurant when we went on a Friday evening. We were craving Thai food and Pai was booked for weeks.... More

We've had great experience here and always order predominantly vegetable dishes which we have always found to be fresh and crunchy. Other customers told us the pad thai was greasy and other noodle dishes were ordinary. Asian customers seemed to enjoy the food and we have always found the vegetables fresh. It pretty good value for a meal right downtown... More

Great food and service. Would go back again without question. Could benefit by having a larger draught beer selection though.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
