Brunch on Father's Day at La Cigogne proved to be a less than inspired idea. The joint was jumping, and service was very slow. Those of us who had reserved tables had to join the lineup with people who wanted pastry to take out. The...More

We went for deserts Saturday, early afternoon. Quite delicious artful creations, lovely presentation, each of us 4 bought a different one and shared. Would go back today, and tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after....

Been to this local spot over the years and am flabbergasted why they don't improve their table service. I know that people mostly order at the counter, but if you have table service available then do it properly. On public holidays they also restrict the...More

I've visited La Cigogne plenty of times. Food is consistently perfect. Service is consistently slow. I suppose I should only visit when I have more than an hour for a cup of tea and croissant.

I wanted to share how we have been dropping in at La Cigogne before long Friday trips to cottage country. Rather than lose time stopping for greasy fast food dinners on the trip north, I have ordered take out sandwiches we consume in the car....More
