3.00 for a cupcake downtown doesn't sound like much but when the cupcake and (way too much) frosting tastes like it came from a Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines boxed mix topped with canned frosting then what a rip off. for the occasional sweet fix, go for it and eat it asap cause if you don't, that costly treat gets... We stopped in to pick up dessert for after dinner and weren't disappointed. While they were out of a few we wanted to try (it was late in the day) we had no problem finding others to substitute. We were not disappointed. Excellent cupcakes...awesome frosting. So good!!

Great cakes, well presented, with excellent variety. And I say that as someone who has eaten more than his fair share of cupcakes over the years. Love it.

I have been going to King & Victoria streets since the store opened in 2011. I pretty much tried most of the flavors of their cupcakes, the regular size is quite generous and the icing is really rich. I like the new additions of the cookies and butter tarts. However the prices are a bit expensive for the tarts given... More

Passed by their Yorkville location today and thought "it can't hurt to have a cupcake", as in one. Singular. I left with 6. I couldn't believe it...that's how they get you. With all those wonderful flavours...my personal favourite is anything that has the peanut butter icing because it is so delicious! Next time I'll try my very best just to... More

Tried to order a cake around Christmas time so i know they're busy but they were completely uninterested in my business as I missed their 48 hour ordering deadline by a few minutes because they took 20 minutes to call me back with a question about their items!! Yes a few minutes. Told no exceptions. Normally wouldn't care but they... More

Needed something sweet to snack on in our hotel room and found this place on Trip Advisor. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and obviously enjoyed her job. There was a very good selection and I asked her to pick out a dozen of their mini's, which we took with us back to the hotel. The cupcakes tasted... More

The cupcakes are tasty, and the variety is great. The best part is the frosting, so sweet and rich, you must have a sweet tooth to enjoy! The cupcake itself is a bit dry, I think they are made the night before and put in a fridge. But overall, still awesome.

Love that they have three different sizes and such an awesome selection in all sizes!! I purchased a six pack of mini in all different flavours they were all delicious, especially loved the vanilla cupcake with strawberry frosting. They do seem a bit pricey but well worth it if you are a 'cupcake lover'!!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
