Downtown Toronto doesnt have that many activity bars (couple w ping pong or pool) - and this is the only one w bowling lanes Not cheap as bowling for an hour during the day on the weekend costs over $60 w show rentals - but staff are friendly and it was a fun atmosphere Nachoes were surprisingly good and decent... AVOID!!! Had thee WORST BAR EXPERIENCE EVER last night. So, I'm waiting at the bar to get a pint. It's relatively busy, but I don't mind the wait. Have had one pint already, which I bought downstairs and I'm in no rush to get a second since they're pretty expensive pints ($9 a pint). Anyway, the wait is over and... More

I just went to this restaurant, the food was tasty, but the chicken santorini which is supposed to be an entree and priced as such is way too small and felt like a sample, I felt like I was put on a diet and the plate felt like it was just halfway, I had a soup and also the chicken... More

Went for drinks and snacks here with my daughter and was pleasantly surprised. Interesting aspect to have a bowling alley as part of the package. We went upstairs for a drink and some snacks. A decent selection of beer, but not enough craft beer selection. We had two appetizers, the spinach dip and the guacamole dip and both were quite... More

Where do you go with a party for 300 people for an hour, the ballroom! We held and event here with passed appetizers and drinks, and the place easily accommodate our audio and video, speaking and presentation needs. When is a sports bar the perfect place for an event, when it is the ballroom! Great food, and plenty of complements... More

This place is really relaxed and the people working the bowling desk were helpful and friendly. Bowling is free on Sundays for an hour after 5 pm and all you have to do is pay for the show rental (only $5.65 which is not bad at all!). What's nice about The Ballroom is that they don't pressure you to buy... More

Been here 3 times and always a blast. Great music, different nights have different genre sod music, but overall has sufficient variety. Everyone is good looking there! never bought a drink there, it is a nice place to be sober at to be honest. There is no coat check in the summer, so my friend and I just hid our... More

I had a great time here with my friends. Who knew bowling could be cool?! The vibe is great, music is awesome, they have an upstairs patio that 'turns up' at night. Great spot highly recommend.

We came here a sales group of approximately 60 people. We booked most of the bowling lanes. Some played bowling others hung out on the nice terrace and had beer and chicken wings. The food was decent and everything tasted good: chicken wings, nachos, veggie dip, cheeses etc etc. Overall a very nice experience. If its a sunny day the... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
