This restaurant has much better appeal than its outside appearance. A friend and myself, enjoyed our burgers, poutines and biers on a Saturday afternoon. The service has definitely been friendly and fast. Definitely recommend!

A group of 10, celebrating nothing in particular. Half the meals came out....... followed by another 3 significantly later.... followed by the last 2 significantly later than that, which the manager comped. A side order of onion rings came out with the last 2 meals even though it was ordered along with the first five that arrived. Those were also... More

Thank goodness for the BC - nothing comes close in this area. Once the brats and their parents clear after 7pm it's great food, stellar service and a fun spot to relax. Ambiance is stellar with good music, fireplace and welcoming bar. Go here.

The Burger Cellar consistently serves one of the best burgers in town. Buns are bakery fresh all the time and the burgers are juicy and tasty and served to perfection with hot crispy fries. If you're looking for something other than a burger, try the Cellar Cobb salad -- it is without a doubt, the best Cobb salad in town.... More

Visited almost at closing time on a Saturday night. Was greeted by the friendly bartender, and ordered to go, even though we could have stayed there. It was a nice atmosphere. Dimly lit with fireplaces, quite romantic for a burger place. The burgers were made fresh even so late at night. It only took about 10 minutes, but I would... More

I thought my burger was a bit overcooked and dry, but the younger, Canadian residents of the family all said theirs were good. Probably they reflect more modern thinking. The service was quick and friendly.

We arrived at 7 and had a reservation made through Open Table. A reservation is mandatory, especially Friday through Sunday, as this place is very busy. Even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. It took another 15 minutes for our server to take our order and another 20 minutes for our... More

A little pricey but amazing burgers. Had beef and turkey. Both amazing burgers and I did take out and there always busy. That's a great sign as well.

Thank Garry H

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
