Alas, not every meal passes the satisfaction line. My inaugural visit to this eatery began with promise, being seated at a table where the paper could be read and the ambiance was pleasant--at least visually. Within seconds, the “roar” of my dinner colleagues became almost...More

I was attracted to this place after seeing the menu on the internet, and it was only just around the corner from my hotel too. I wish I hadn't. The building itself it quite nice, a big patio out the front - which was really...More

I was rather excited by their relatively clean, gluten-friendly menu and was sorely disappointed by painfully slow service, an even slower kitchen and inedible "crepes" (not actual crepes) full with heaps of cumin. Cumin-scented as described they were not. 3 in our party didn't end...More

We went to this restaurant with no expectations, as with most restaurants in the Church/Wellesley area. The food was very good and at very affordable prices. The place was packed!!.. Perhaps that was the reason why the service was a bit on the briskly side....More

We tried for lunch at this place as the menu and location seemed great. But after the attitude we got from the hostess made us feel totally unwelcome, we said "No thanks" and left for another restaurant just down the way where we were greeted...More

This was the first place I ate on my visit to Toronto and I wasn't disappointed. The salad I had was very tasty. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was excellent. I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't available all day but this wasn't a...More

We were very pleased to find this restaurant in Toronto. Food was delicious, particularly the broccoli & cauliflower starter! They have lots of vegan and gluten free options and the staff are very knowledgeable about alternative diets. Jenn was brilliant, serving us with great humour...More

The menu is trendy, and the service fast and friendly, but is was surprisingly noisy during the lunch hour. The entire place has only hard surfaces on floors, walls, and ceilings and even when it was only half full, it was noisy enough that we...More

We stopped in here for brunch a couple of Sunday's ago. It was very busy but the very friendly hostess found us the last table for 4. The guys ordered the eggs benedict and they enjoyed them. My friend and I split two dishes -...More

If you're looking to eat good shakshuka, go somewhere else. It had way too much cumin, and the eggs were not poached right. Service was mediocre, and felt like they are rushing to get us out. Would go elsewhere next time!

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
