If you own a dog DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE... If I could give no stars or even half a star I honestly would... The owner was visibly offended by the fact my family & I sat next to my maltese that was tied on the outside of their fence (given the constant dirty looks he and his employee/friend... More

Gelato made in house! I saw they had a Basil raspberry flavour! Yummy. They also have all the regulars. Tried the double chocolate and that was good too. Friendly service who suggested his favourites: pistachio, hazelnut and strawberry gelatos. Cute patio just across from the subway stop where you can get a burger for $4. Will return to try everything!

This little gem had the Best Gelato in Toronto. Stopped by when my family spotted the patio and my mother-in-law saw they sold gelato. Everyone got different flavors and everyone's gelato was amazing . The weather was perfect yesterday so we all sat out on the patio. It would appear they also sell burgers and veggie burgers. Will go back... More

Although they have food and drink, we usually drop in for the delicious gelato. Espresso/cappucino available, if not in a hurry treat yourself to an affogato - gelato drowned in espresso.

Eating great meals where the locals gather is a high priority for me when I travel. Toronto did not let me down. The outstanding, flavorful pizza was prepared to perfection. The staff was patient as I poured over the menu of great options for both lunch and dinner. Yes I went twice! I really liked the Patio service. Walk away... More

Enjoy this neighbourhood restaurant that offers everything from live music in the summer and gelato, to sandwiches, coffees and pizzas. The owner is very personable and easy to talk to, the atmosphere casual. Would go again.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
