My friend and I shared a few items off the menu here including the risotto balls, and butternut squash ravioli. Really nice. Nice atmosphere as well. Great meal!

I love everything about this place. It has a fashionable but cozy vibe, wine on tap ($1 an ounce!) and the food (which is Southern Italian) is delicious. The actual building it’s in is also really cool as it used to be an auto garage and the entire top half is made of glass (which turns into a rooftop patio... More

I really appreciated my dinner at Gusto. I got the spinach and cheese pizza and it was delicious. I will definitively come back here to try their pasta! The only reason I put 4 and not 5 stars is because the place is really, really noisy. Lots of people come here, and you better arrive early to get a seat... More

The food is great. The staff is great. Its exactly what it should be, its not terribly pricey, its a great spot to go on a date or grab a drink after work. Wine by the oz. is always a thrill for me, make sure to get the Kale Salad. Seriously.

Funky Italian Restaurant in T.O. this was my favourite restaurant while there. Service was attentive, vibe was good. Food was delicious and quite reasonable and $1 per ounce of house wine is just a great idea. As Snoop Dogg once said: "ohhhhhh eeeeeeee"

I've been going to Gusto 101 since they opened and upon arrival back to Toronto, I was dying to see if it still lived up to the hype. The kale salad was simply delicious as was the beef carpaccio, grilled octopus, and pizza. I didn't really care for the beef tartare, it was missing flavour and the texture wasn't right.

I frequent this restaurant often and the energy never fails to please! The servers are great - good quality is top notch and prices are reasonable. Excellent Italian option that isn't simply the basics. I enjoy sitting at the kitchen bar - amazing to watch the chefs work their magic and to see how much food goes out of the... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
