The food is prepared to order and the butter chicken was very delicious with complexity in flavour. Basmati rice on the side was perfectly cooked and fluffy. Everything was piping hot and enjoyable.

We visited Roti House again after parking near Subway sandwiches along Queens Quay over a block away. We enjoy spicy Madras cooking, and the lamb and chicken here was succulent. (Mango curry was a little too sweet for me, but the saucy curries were seasoned...perfectly.) Although we could handle “spicy,” I recommend “mild” for anyone who is not used to regular Indian fare. Be prepared for messy eating—with plastic fork and knife! Payment by debit and cash only: we ordered and paid ahead for Roti and drink bottles inside, where there was no space to eat. Sanitizer was available, and masks must be worn to order inside. Two outdoor tables and a street-style /takeout venue was a step up from food trucks at Harbourfront Centre stage, across the street last weekend (where public washrooms were accessible on the SouthWest side). Street cars from Union subway Station carried tourists to Harbourfront and Toronto island ferries. Flat fee $25 parking is available in the area as well, including Radisson hotel facing Roti House on Queens Quay.More
This is one of the cheaper indian restaurants that we have ever eaten at. The dishes were all good and the portion size was excellent. The curries were flavorful and the meat dishes were tender.
Ordered a potato roll. The quantity was good and the food was served hot. The potatoes were uncooked and raw and the gravy was stale. Gave me a stomach upset the next day.
roti is original way of presenting the food. Had Marsala roti wrapped in a naan bread and butter chicken and rice. Very thing was very hot, freshly made and delicious. Asked for not spicy and I was great.
We were curious to know what a roti was.....the one with chicken butter is simply amazing and really tasty. We had enough of one for 2. Delicious and authentic Indian food
Just ordered take away. Liked the huge servings of the butter chicken roti . You have the option of rice instead of roti but I was never told about this . Even the samosa I ordered was smothered in onion when they knew I hated...it. Place was too small you end up either not having a table or forced to just order them as take out.More
A strange little place in that they never prepare meals ahead of time, the opposite of a buffet in Little India. The thing is, the food is as good or better than any Indian I've had in Toronto. It is totally worth the wait -...and pretty much Take Out Only.More
I visited this place on a weekday for my lunch. The place is situated near the Harbourfront. The place has a very limited seating and is mostly good for takeout only. The place serves the Indian cuisine in a slightly different way. Generally breads and...curry is served separately but they provide curries inside the bread or roti like a big wrap. I ordered their paneer tikka roti. It was piping hot when it was served. The portion size was huge. It took me a while to finish it. But the taste was very average. Having tried Indian food my whole life, I would say that the paneer curry could have been a lot better.More
