Salad had brown slimy pieces of lettuce and tasteless bits of chicken. That this bowl came out of the kitchen and was served to a customer is a clear indication that there is absolutely no sense of pride in this restaurant.

I have on occasion, found myself entering the doors of Factory Girl, this before the pandemic. To say that I've always been more than pleased with the choice of taps, the outstanding menu and the wonderful servers, is an understatement. This Gastropub, is not to...be missed. Then came covid-19. But not long after restaurants were allowed to provide take out, Factory Girl offered some of its best items on the menu to be picked up and taken home. From something as basic as the Banquet Burger (Sirloin Burger!) to wings, rings and my favorite, Rigatoni a la Vodka, all are delicious and apart from missing the incredible servers, I'm a happy man. In my opinion, there simply is no other establishment on Toronto's acclaimed "Danforth" that holds a candle to Factory Girl.More
I've been to Factory Girl a few times over the years, and I always leave with a smile on my face and a full belly. The food is arguably the best on the Danforth, if not the city, and the servers always have excellent recommendations...for wine to pair with my meal. The combination of consistently exceptional service with the relaxed Rock and Roll atmosphere makes me feel very welcome. I am always recommending Factory Girl to my friends and family. Definitely check it out, you don't know what you're missing! Personal Tip: YOU NEED TO HAVE THE CALAMARI TO START!More
I had the halibut wrap. the fish was dry and tasteless, the fries were left frying too long tasted like stale cardboard
Decent, not great food. The ahi tuna was good but served on a bed of creamy coleslaw rendered it milky and wet. Some seasoning, onions, cilantro and lime would have greatly enhanced this. I was offered some bottled hot sauce on the side.
The food is very good with a lot of options. The sandwiches are great and the portions are big. Service is excellent and the setting is nice. Great spot to watch a game or before a show at the Music Hall.
My friend's son recommended this restaurant as he had been there several times, so we thought we'd try it. The menu consists mainly of pasta dishes and pizza. I had the shrimp and scampi pasta which was excellent! We shared a bottle of a nice...Malbec wine. The interior is very cosy and the walls are covered with old photos of musicians. The prices are reasonable and service was friendly.More
We had the best experience at Factory Girl! We went in on a busy Saturday afternoon and we had the most amazing experience. Kaela was our waitress she went absolutely above and beyond for us. They didn’t have any colouring pages for our kids, so...Kaela printed off some colouring pages right then and there and then ran across the street to buy crayons for us! Wow!! She made us feel extremely comfortable and certainly well taken care of. The restaurant was very busy, but Kaela was very communicative and kept us in the loop. We never felt like we had been waiting, it was great! The food was fantastic also, Kaela suggested the fish & chips and it was delicious! Crispy, fresh, and came out quickly. The kids ordered the pizza and spaghetti and I was very impressed with how quickly the food came out. The kids were able to eat first, which was so great! All in all we had such a great time, we will be coming back for sure! Thanks for such a great experience! Kaela, we hope you are working next time we come in :)More
Went for dinner on Friday night and sat down for about 15 minutes before I had to ask someone to come get a drink order. Waited another 10ish minutes and ended up leaving. When we left no one asked us why, but just gave dirty...looks- the restaurant was not busy at this time.More
We popped in here before a show at the Danforth and it was just OK. The pizzas were decent, but nothing I'd have to try again. There's a decent selection of beers on tap. In fact the most interesting thing on the menu was that...all the pizzas prices ended in "4". But when I asked why, the server didn't know.More
The menu had changed since we last visited from a steak menu to more of a pasta/sandwich menu. I ordered the prime rib hoagie with side of Mediterranean salad (aka Village salad for $7 extra). It was very tasty. Everyone at the table enjoyed the...food. The server seemed very frazzled/inexperienced as she swapped everyone’s sides and didn’t know a lot about the menu. She brought us complimentary bread & butter to compensate for the inconvenience.More
I booked my basketball team of 12 here on a Thursday. It was on the same night as a Raptor game..Which would be disastrous for any bar. But Factory Girl did not buckle under the pressure. Our server kept service at a high level, great...food cooked to order, and I was promised everything I requested (table for 12 near a tv).More
This is a great spot for a family meal. Something on the menu for everyone. Especially like that they bring the kids’ order quickly. Highly recommend the appetizer meatballs - great flavour with a bit of heat. Food has a home cooked feel. We will...back.More
Service was fine. Food OK. But pricey. One good thing about it is that it is huge -- you can always get a table -- so a good place to go if you have large group and no reservations. A patio out at the back...too.More
From the moment you walk into this place, you’re impressed. The place is huge and the staff give you the best seats in the house, the best service and the kitchen fires it up, fast. Back patio is beautiful, front patio, nuzz’d up against the...bustlin’ danforth and the big front windows open up too. This place must seat 250+ people, seriously it’s huge. Great. FOOD. Great. STAFF. Great. VIBE. Did I mention it’s next to an arcade bar and the danforth music hall is 30 seconds away?More
