My friend and I both love fish and chips so we decided to try out this restaurant for lunch. I had noticed that they have lunch specials when I was looking at different restaurants options. There is not a lot of parking in this area so we parked in the parking lot that is close to Islington Ave on Bloor... More

One of the best places to enjoy English style fish & chips. Steak and Kidney Pie and other British favourites. Very busy on a Friday evening. Sevice fast and efficient with a balloon to track the card payment machine which I found amusing. Limited parking on Street, we used the Library parking.

Being British and just come home from a trip for Christmas I was having chippy withdrawals. So I thought I'd try Kingsway...always been skeptical due to the pricing, but I was pleasantly surprised Chips 3.8/5 Fish 4.3/5 Mushy peas 4/5 Black pudding 5/5!!! The way they batter then fry the already well made black pudding is delightful!

This is definitely my husband favorite Fish and Chips restaurant in our area. The service is great and the food fresh.

We've been going to Kingsway Fish and Chips since the early 1960's. The staff are so friendly you're welcomed like your part of the family. The fish & chips are hot, delicious and never disappoints. Their batter is incredible. You have to try their new halibut tacos. Delicious. We tried 3 other local fish and chips restaurants that were recommended... More

Kingsway F&C has been a mainstay of this area since 1958 when I came here as a kid with my parents for an occasional "treat". It has bounced around the area in a few locations but its food has always been memorable solid quality. Closed Sundays and Mondays KFC (NOT the greasy chicken place!!!!) re-opens on Tuesdays with a "kids... More

This neighbourhood restaurant was crowded: almost always a good sign! It proved to be so in this case: really excellent halibut, and tasty haggis. The chips were fine, if nothing special. Prices seemed a bit steep, but you get what you pay for ...

We had heard lots about their fish and chips so we decided to go for dinner. There is a lot on the menu for non-fish eaters too. The service was prompt and it wasn't busy. The food itself was nothing to write home about. There was far more batter than fish which was disappointing. The scortish pie pastry was dry... More
