Go to Lunch Box often - actually for breakfast before hopping onto subway directly across the street from the Keele subway Stn. A great local option that offers a very good assortment of menu options for hot or continental breakfasts. Ingredients are fresh & portions are generous. Service is always accommodating & friendly. A mainstay option in High Park @... More

The breakfast we had was fresh and creative. The coffee was also good, and we are picky with our morning coffee! My husband and I ate there both mornings we stayed in the area. Apparently this is also where the locals eat.

I live in the city and I am a tough breakfast critic. This place does breakfast better than my mom. Everything is fresh and home cooked. My husband and I always come here :) turkey sausage is amazing. Fresh baked goods amazing! Lunch is amazing :)

Stopped in on a trip to High Park. Place was busy and deserved to be. The sandwiches are all freshly made with homemade spreads. Good selection of drinks and smoothies. The friendliest service I have experienced in a long time! Manager brought around a free sample of a smoothie, which was so refreshing on a hot day. Definitely recommend a... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
