We ordered the “Deal for 2 people”, which included an appetizer (6 pieces, ie. 2 of each of 3 different types of appetizers chosen by the chef) and it was delicious! Then we had 3 dishes, one chicken, one shrimp and one vegetarian, together with rice and butter naan. Every single item was so good! And the price was quite reasonable. I have been to many Indian restaurants and this is would be one of my favorites. Service was excellent (friendly and quick). Will definitely go back.

Recently, I ordered alu gobi, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and naan (tandoori flat bread) from this restaurant. I really enjoyed the taste and delicacy of the items. Food was fresh and aromatic of Indian species. Wow! I really recommend to try once if you like Indian dishes.

Tasty food! We samples and shared a number of dishes and found all of them to be very good to excellent. The service is a bit spotty, however: friendly but not particularly attentive. The staff may need more training. All in all, it was an enjoyable evening.

We had lovely authentic Indian food but service was slow and haphazard. it took a while to get the food, which we were sharing with a group of 6, then everything came at once (appetizers and mains). Some had their plates changed out and one even had her plate whisked away before she was finished her meal or could say anything.

Really didn't expect such quality from this little place. The food was delicious, not quite authentic Indian but with some interesting modern notes. Great cooked and decorated. Simple interior but cosy. Very attentive and prompt service. Would definitely recommend.

I can't say this is the best Indian restaurant I've ever visited, but the food was really good. We had Butter Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo - well cooked and nice decorated. Friendly staff, they were ready to help with all our need. Could definitely recommend the place.

They really improved from our last visit. Well trained staff and fast service. The food was good cooked, fresh and healthy. We had Malai Tikka and Lamb Biryani - great taste, really Indian.

We enjoyed our evening here. Wide menu, freshly made food. Perfectly spiced. Quite good wine list. They don't offer classic Indian cuisine, their food has interesting modern hints. I would recommend the place to every Indian food fan.

After eating at the restaurant once and enjoying the food, I ordered some meals for delivery. I placed a lunch order on their website at 12:30 pm and received a confirmation message with an estimated time of delivery up to 2:10 pm. At 2:25 pm I called them to check the status and have been told that my order would be delivered at 5 pm. They simply did not care about my expectations and did not bother to apologize or anything. Going through this horrible experience of waiting for 1h30 min to find out my lunch order is not coming at lunch time, I will never waste my time with them anymore. There are lots of excellent Indian restaurants in Toronto with professional service. It is not the case of Marigold.

It was my second visit at indian bistro.I had a dinner on last Saturday. The restaurant was full packed but the service was so fast.Again i am appreciating the servers, All were so attentive. I had tandoori chicken, butter chicken,dal tadka and some breads. Everything was damn so delicious with full of flavours.I think, i have found my favourite restaurant in the downtown of Toronto.

We ordered from here using skip the dishes. After an hour and a half with no update, we called the restaurant and the first person told us they sent our courier away because he wanted to pay debit. The second person said they had 7 orders waiting and they hadn’t updated skip the dishes. Our app said the courier would be matched when the order was ready. So we got no food and no updates. Just don’t order from here and don’t waste your time.

Thanks for your valuable feedback! But we are a reputed business from last 6 years and our delivery times are 45-60 minutes. Your order was placed through skip the dishes and we prepared the order in 20 minutes, but the driver never showed up for the order for an hour. Our manager tried to explain you also, but I guess the industry is such that 99 out of 100 satisfied customers dont post a 5 star review and one unsatisfied customer post such a review that too when its not our fault. Therefore at Marigold we look to improve everyday and we challenge to deliver the best food in 60 mins if you order at our restaurant.
Thanks, I hope you accept our friendly challenge and try our service not a third party service.

Its not been long since I have been in Canada. The best Indian food I could find is at Marigold. A place to visit with friends and family, great ambience, quick service, perfect spices and breads and great varieties of chicken.
