A group of 6 of us from work went for lunch. The service was very good to start, but then the server completely disappeared and stopped checking. We were on lunchtime and had to get back - no one else in our section (or in...More

I keep coming back both because it is easy to get to, just a few blocks south of the 401 on Avenue Rd but also because the pub grub is always the best. The only issue is lack of parking. All side streets are virtually...More

The pheasant and firkin is my favorite local eatery. The service is always outstanding, as is the food and drinks. The owners are often there to greet customers and they take the time to learn the names of their guests. I frequently come here with...More

Came here for dinner with friends who live in the neighbourhood. Getting a table was quick but that was the last of quick to happen! Our waitress took her time with everything and forgot parts of the drink order and main entrees. We waited for...More

North York
North York is one of Toronto's most culturally diverse
neighborhoods. Home to a number of cultural events
throughout the year that celebrate the city's varied
ethnic communities, it's always worthwhile to see
what's going on in the area. Its cross-section of
inhabitants include students and long-time residents,
giving North York an eclectic feeling of being both
local and international. Extremely family-friendly,
