Friend took me for lunch to this lovely Thai restaurant, Feb 24th Mon. An adequate lunch menu to chose from with ample servings. I ordered the cashew chicken main dish. All from luncheon meal comes with platter with salad, eggroll/dip , and sweet and sour soup. This would have been enough to fill me w light appetite. Cashew chicken very good with lots of nuts. My friend ordered green curry, which she seemed pleased with and couldnt finish. I forced myself to eat all. as so delicious. Prices very reasonable, especially on the lunch menu, Parking could be an issue. Tucked into a wee plaza.

We thought to try the restaurant as it’s ranked as having the best Thai food in Etobicoke. We were not disappointed.
I recommend the crispy chicken cashew, massaman curry and the sticky rice. The food was tasty and the portions were reasonable.

Unfortunately, no combo specials for dinner, only for lunch. Good and fast service. Authentic Thai dishes. Good variety. Ran out of mango that night. Could not find parking on site.

We used to live in Asia and have been to Thailand many times and love Thai food. Since moving back to Canada 3 years ago we often get cravings for SE Asian cuisine, and this motivated us to search for an authentic Thai restaurant. This restaurant was top rated so we have it a try. Unfortunately there was nothing authentic about the dishes. The green curry and massaman curry were just coconut creme- no curry paste, no lime, no Thai spices, and they used all wester vegetables- corn and red pepper... Thai food is spicy and sour (lime)- this was bland and sweetened. Must have been adapted to Canadian taste buds, so no longer what I would consider Thai.
The Pad Thai was similarly sweetened, not as bad as the curries but hardly worth the rave reviews....
The wonderful Thai desserts also did not come through at nimman thai. Though they had mango sticky rice on the menu, they only offered pineapple sticky rice (never saw that in Thailand). Overall Nimman Thai does not deserve the 5 star rating.

The daily combo set is value for money. Good choices and ample proportions. Authentic Thai food named after the street in Bangkok.

Outstanding Food. Fascinating combination of delicate and robust flavours. Excellent and prompt service. And when they realised that I was mistakenly charged as out of area, they adjusted the bill. Marvellous.

Ordered takeout as dine in is closed for the pandemic; an appetizer combo, two dishes and one rice, nothing spicy as my dinner companion couldn’t have it; everything was fresh and tasty, portions were good, ready in 20 mins, will definitely order again

Nice place in the hood. I would prefer the take our option, as I found the wait when ordering may vary. They have good service and the place is clean.
The parking may be hard at night.

It was bland, boring, non-thai thai food. Westernised to the point of sadness. Disappointing particularly after a conversation , in Thai, with a woman who said she was the owner.

My partner and I wanted to pick up some sushi from a nearby place that was closed on Tuesdays. And this place was right across so we decided to give it a try.
I asked for a vegan dish and got brown rice with steamed veggies and it was ok. Deep fried tofu appetizer was delicious 😋 (with peanut sauce.... ) never had anything similar!
My boyfriend had hot and sour soup that he said was delicious but he was not pleased with shrimps and his coconut rice was quite good.
This is not a place with exceptional interior or art work or any of these but it seems to be clean with moderately priced food.
Service was great as well.
Also I noticed a lot of people coming to pick up their takeout dinners-so that should be another good sign.

This is my second time here this summer and I have enjoyed each meals. The service is good and fast, the food is delicious and prices are reasonable. The size of the portions are fair.
The restaurant has nice soft music playing. Simple decoration but with tasteful.

It seems to me that the cook has changed. Everything was different from what I ate before. And it was different for the worse. I am no longer a customer of this restaurant.

Like many Thai restaurants you have to tell them to make the food for normal people because the menu does not help. Even if the dish is shown as vegetarian, it may still have fish sauce in it. The spring rolls and the summer rolls were quite good and did not smell of any fish. The lychee curry (a new item for me) was bland and full of large pieces of veggies that are a total turnoff.

When visiting my daughter last week, I decided to treat us to dinner and saw the reviews for this restaurant. It is only a two minute walk from her apt. and what a gem! They will become regulars and I will want to go back anytime I visit! Everyone really enjoyed their meal, I tried the pad thai hor kai and it was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had! Service was quick and friendly.
