This is a great family friendly restaurant for lunch or dinner. Lovely staff, reasonably priced food. Good pizza and pasta. A nice option for a lSt minute family evening meal if you just cant face cooking!

So we ordered for delivery. Huge mistake. Was only 5 minutes away and likely should have gone for pick-up. While wanting to support local restos, this was 1 time we should have taken the 5 minute drive. So it took close to 1 1/2 to...get the food. When it was finally delivered, it was a taxi that delivered it. The pasta was really good as was the pizza. Burgers were ok. The fries were horrible. Everything by this time was cold. Like really cold. Do not order delivery. Would probably try this place again but honestly left a bad impression.More

Had a very very weird experience last week. Went here for late night bites and a few beverages with a friend who’d just finished his graduate school. Upon entering we were told it was free seating. My friend and I opted for table on the...‘outside patio’ instead of the ‘ inside patio’ within a minitue of sitting down a server comes and tells us that they have to moves us because they are closing this area. We moved to the ‘inside patio’ mind you we hadn’t even ordered yet. We sat down, waited for a while for a server. Eventually placed the drinks order. By the time our drinks came we saw another family/group of guests get seated at the table we were asked to move from. We ordered food a few minutes later. The night went on, food and a few drinks finished. Noticed that others who were sat on the outside patio area when we initially arrived were still there, the group of guests who were seated in our initial table were there all comfortable. We left the place observing people still seated outside. It was my friends first ever night out in canada. Im trying so hard not to refer to this as discrimination but I’m struggling here. Just FYI I’m of Indian Descent and my friend of African. It has left a very bitter taste for me. I don’t see myself returning in the near future.yes i did think of mentioning it to the server when she came to us with the check but I let it be. No issues with the place as such, just this was not okay.More

I love this place. There is certainly more unique food to be had in little Italy, perhaps even better food, but this place is cheap and great. The Antipasto de Casa comes with about a pound of parmesan cheese cubes. The patio is really nice...and relaxing. The biscotti is potentially from Costco, but who cares. It's a great place to sit and snack and relax and slowly digest a pound of parmesan cheese.More

Cosa e successo? What happened, ragazzi?? Had a glass of merlot, shared a grilled calamari and shrimp, then had a personal pizza....and it was a bit disappointing. GREAT patio, good friendly service, normally I love this good old family resto that has been here for...decades. Bread came to the table. Soft, gummy bread. Not crusty gorgeous italian bread. Brutto. The grilled calamari was ok...needed a little more cooking as they were wet and gooey on the inside of the rings (shrimp were delicious - perfect btw - bravo!). Merlot - thin, pale, hard edged. (Maybe my fault - I ordered an inexpensive wine) So - pizza. We're not in Napoli and we know this. But raggazzi - pizza is your specialty, no? Why the heck are your black olives out of a tin? C'mon.More

We came here for their “2 can dine for $49” winter special ( to March 6) . This restaurant is always good and has a lively buzz. The wait staff are great!. Our meal choice came with a carafe of wine, a shared starter of...mussels in red sauce, rolls, pizza and salad, delicious chicken parmesan with penne, 2 petite cannoli and 2 mini cakes, latte for my husband. The owners are very gracious to do this ~ thank you very much! This is really the Toronto from another era - traditional Italian food at great prices! The coffee is always great and the patio superb in the nice weather, right in the heart of the College strip.More

I was only here for three days and I came here every day. Sometimes just the the cities best Macchiato and twice for the greatest minestrone soup I’ve ever had. It’s on Collage and the choices around it are vast. But this place is a...must visit if you’re ever in Toronto. I loved everything about it. The coffee. Primarily. The food is stunning. The service even better. Well worth the flight price alone.More

I ordered the lentil soup and the fresh planchetti pasta and my hubby ordered the veal parmesan which came with spaghetti pasta in a meat sauce. My fresh pasta was amazing but the soup was oily and watery and my hubby found a metal screw/bolt...in the meat sauce in his pasta. He’s lucky he spit it out and didn’t swallow it or break a tooth. They comped the meal but I won’t be returning.More

This has been a Toronto mainstay, siting on its former laurels. There are now many better options in Little Italy.
