As a Greek-Canadian, I have eaten at many restaurants on The Danforth. Christina's offers a warm environment to all ages with an excellent, authentic Greek menu. Our server, Tommy, was engaging and professional. He handled our billing needs with aplomb. I will continue to patronize...this classic on The Danforth.More

Had been here pre-Covid and is was great. Not sure what happened in the last few years. Moussaka was disgusting. I am of Greek heritage and this was worst I have tasted. Lamb chops were over cooked as was the pork souvlaki. No manager in...restaurant to deal with clientele. Will definitely not go back! Service was slow and not very welcoming.More

In a nutshell, service was adequate, food was terrible and it was overpriced. Star rating 3 at best. Based on a google search we ended up at Christina's for dinner May 3rd. It was noted as one of the best for Greek on the Danforth....Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews before hand and was very disappointed. I can say without hesitation this was the worst slouvlaki dinner I have ever eaten. We had a chicken, pork and two lamb and there was quite a bit of food we did not eat. Meat was fatty and tasteless. Salad was poorly put together. The dressing tasted and looked like lit came from a bottle or jar and was just dumped on it. And to top it even though there were other wait staff there we waited 30 minutes for our bill after asking for it 3 times. We ended up going the the register ourselves and even then he didn't have the bill ready. How this restaurant ended on top 5 for Greek on Danforth is a mystery to me. I would not recommend this restaurant.More

My souvlaki consisted of 6 shrivelled up chunks of tough and very badly overcooked pork. I still have the burnt taste in my mouth. When the waiter took our plates (I had left much of my meal uneaten) I told him that it was not...good at all. He said that I should have told him earlier and he would have gotten me another one. Had I done that, my wife would have been finished her meal by the time mine arrived, so I decided against it. He kept insisting that I should have said something, obviously not realizing that I just had. The bill came with no adjustment or consideration for my complaint. Very bad experience.More

I went with my wife and a dear friend for a Greek lunch. We were served by Robert, an amazing soul who made the lunch and the environment a more pleasant experience. The food was very tasty, cooked to its perfection. We will go back...with a bigger group of friends soon. I recommend this place to all living in or visiting Toronto, Ontario. Michael GhorashiMore

It's nice that at lunch we were offered both a lunch menu (my wife ordered from it) and a dinner menu (me). The vegetarian moussaka was really good; the lamb shank with orzo was very tasty. Authentic Greek coffee was a great finisher.

Recipe for one of the best birthday celebrations in 75 years of birthdays: great food, great friends, great decor, and a lot of laughs, thanks our animated waiter at Christinas. Highlights were the best french fries ever, and the special Saganaki, a flaming haloumi cheese...dish, presented with flare by the wonderful waiter, Tommy.More

We were out on Saturday looking for a quiet and cozy place to eat. A few other restaurants on Danforth were overcrowded with shouting children, stressed waitstaff, no music, only noises of forks against the plates. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into Christina's...and found a tastefully decorated spacious place with quiet music on the background and smiling staff. The food was amazing! The portions are very generous, nicely presented on the plates. Our waiter was very attentive. Shortly after we came in, all the other tables were filled, but even at capacity they were able to maintain an atmosphere of a fine dining restaurant. Christina's is now on the list of my favorite places to dine!More

We hadn't been out to the Danforth in a while - nor had we eaten at Christina's in a very long time. Although it wasn't bad - it really wasn't good either. Very average. The restaurant interior is tired. The washrooms, stairway etc all need...some paint and TLC. The tables are shoved so closely together that you can barely sit down. They are also very small tables and they serve everything on giant plates which are too large for the table so the overall effect is squished and crowded and uncomfortable. Although many restaurants don't even use real menus due to COVID, and many use disposable paper menus or apps, Christina's is still using an old style menu which is laminated, they look rather dog eared and not particularly clean which means many hands have touched them. ew. The food was as mentioned average. The salads were over-dressed. The mains were okay. Lamb chops didn't have a lot of flavour. Potatoes and rice were good. Nice to have live music however - even though he wasn't playing greek music which would have lent a nice authentic air to the evening.More

My wife and I reserved a table at Christinas last Friday. We had not been there since 2019. We were looking forward to some nice Saganaki and Moussaka. When we arrived we were welcomed by Tommy, an outstanding waiter. He was very attentive and went...out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The service throughout the evening was terrific and the food was excellent. I had the chicken souvlaki, the portion was generous, the presentation was thoughtful. The flavour was very good and the chicken was very tender and moist. My wife ordered the Mousaka. She had been craving it for a long time. We had gone to another Greek restaurant a week before and were appalled by the food. Christinas didn't disappoint here. My wife is very particular when it comes to Mousaka. I had to try it as it looked so good. One bite tells you that it was authentic and made with love! Oh and the baklava was excellent! Thanks to everyone at Christinas and especially our new friend Tommy. It was a great dinner and we will see again very soon!More
