We were out on Saturday looking for a quiet and cozy place to eat. A few other restaurants on Danforth were overcrowded with shouting children, stressed waitstaff, no music, only noises of forks against the plates. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into Christina's...and found a tastefully decorated spacious place with quiet music on the background and smiling staff. The food was amazing! The portions are very generous, nicely presented on the plates. Our waiter was very attentive. Shortly after we came in, all the other tables were filled, but even at capacity they were able to maintain an atmosphere of a fine dining restaurant. Christina's is now on the list of my favorite places to dine!More

We hadn't been out to the Danforth in a while - nor had we eaten at Christina's in a very long time. Although it wasn't bad - it really wasn't good either. Very average. The restaurant interior is tired. The washrooms, stairway etc all need...some paint and TLC. The tables are shoved so closely together that you can barely sit down. They are also very small tables and they serve everything on giant plates which are too large for the table so the overall effect is squished and crowded and uncomfortable. Although many restaurants don't even use real menus due to COVID, and many use disposable paper menus or apps, Christina's is still using an old style menu which is laminated, they look rather dog eared and not particularly clean which means many hands have touched them. ew. The food was as mentioned average. The salads were over-dressed. The mains were okay. Lamb chops didn't have a lot of flavour. Potatoes and rice were good. Nice to have live music however - even though he wasn't playing greek music which would have lent a nice authentic air to the evening.More

My wife and I reserved a table at Christinas last Friday. We had not been there since 2019. We were looking forward to some nice Saganaki and Moussaka. When we arrived we were welcomed by Tommy, an outstanding waiter. He was very attentive and went...out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The service throughout the evening was terrific and the food was excellent. I had the chicken souvlaki, the portion was generous, the presentation was thoughtful. The flavour was very good and the chicken was very tender and moist. My wife ordered the Mousaka. She had been craving it for a long time. We had gone to another Greek restaurant a week before and were appalled by the food. Christinas didn't disappoint here. My wife is very particular when it comes to Mousaka. I had to try it as it looked so good. One bite tells you that it was authentic and made with love! Oh and the baklava was excellent! Thanks to everyone at Christinas and especially our new friend Tommy. It was a great dinner and we will see again very soon!More

Had a great family meal at Christina's. Everything was top notch. Our waiter Tommy is so personable and friendly. He always makes us feel welcome and special. We'll be back for sure!

The food was good. Well served. The services was slow though and there were small kids waiting for their food for over 1 hour. We've paid $102.65 for two people with one drink included.

Charged $20 for a double vodka soda and $12 for a shot of crown royal. I have never paid that much even in a fancy downtown bar. And usually a double isn't twice the price - it's usually a bit better deal? The moussaka for...sure was not fresh you could barely eat it. The saganaki was flamed with brandy - that's fine, but no bread, no lemon left to eat it with. Would not suggest you spend money here. Service was okay, but short staffed- that's happening all over. When I tried to ask about if there was anything they could do about charging so much for the drinks and the food was not that good they said no. FYI - we also bought wine and two aperol spritz and had another feta cheese appetizer. So total bill was $220.00 - which also they put on the debit machine for tipping to start at 18% i realized that after that i selected that and was too fed up to ask to change it. I even called when i got home to inquire if there was anything they could do about this experience they said no so i said i won't be coming back - they didn't care - just a bad experience for way too much money.More

Went there expecting reasonably good food but we were disappointed. Although the appetizer was okay the main course was not good the minute rice was tasteless and the veg on my plate was awful

We were a group of 6 who were in the mood for a great evening out and some fabulous Greek food. Christina’s did not disappoint! We were greeted by Thomas, who was also our waiter. To say that he made our experience top notch was...an understatement. His service was second to none and his food recommendations were fabulous. He suggested a meat platter and a seafood platter for the table. Portions were more than generous! Unfortunately for Thomas, the table seated behind us were rude and demanding. His professionalism is to be commended. I’m not sure there are many wait staff that would have responded even close to how he did. Looking forward to our return visit in August.More

In its heyday in the 80s was a great place today tease modernization and updating in Reno. Food was OK It’s time for change you can’t run this place the way it’s been run 40 years ago.

Superb food and ambiance. New lobster ravioli on the menu was great. Lovely evening made even better by Tommy the server whose personal touch and affable demeanour created a 5 star experience. Definitely a must when visiting To.
