Had the unami burger, excellent flavour. The Beau's on tap is dynamite but if you want something even more powerful we finished off with a ginger drink made locally...WOW!

Visited on feb 1st, dinner/drinks and trivia night Not my first visit but last night we had food and it was quite good! So i figured it was time to write a review. I had an original burger with cheese and bacon. Burger was quite affordable and the meat tasted like meat! Not frozen patties and it was quite big!... More

The waitress was friendly, fast and willing to answer all of my questions. The nachoea were the absolute best that I have ever had. Next time, I would add goat cheese.

Went for dinner and drinks with friends. Service was friendly but average. Server was sweating so much he was touching his hair constantly then pouring drinks right after. A bit gross. They don't have a cocktail menu, just beer and wine. Had their umami burger, fries and a Stella. Patty was dry and over cooked. Bun was good, and Flavours... More

My first time at Dave's: I ordered something that hadn't come out the way I asked so I sent it back and requested something else. Felt a bit bad about that, so when it came time to pay, I was surprised to find the owner didn't charge me at all for my order, even though my second order was something... More

This little bar is the type of place that friends gather for a drink to watch the game. It's loud, it's fun, the TV screen's are big and the food and drinks are good. When we were there, the Raptors playoffs game was on. I ordered the Mac and cheese and it was very tasty.

Small and very noisy music playing. A family place at lunch. Had an ok burger, fresh made. Not a large menu. Hard to park.

Dave’s On St Clair – 730 St Clair West – right near Christie. I wandered in there on ST. Patrick’s Day – medium busy (2PM) ordered a burger and a Guinness, what else on the Green Day. The beer was as it should be, the burger was excellent. Tasted to me like they make their own patties. Service was good... More

Just a great place to hang out on Trivia Wednesdays, or a good food dinner, or a local meet up place. There are never enough tables, and that's a giveaway!

Had a good time here for a friend's birthday. They have some surprisingly wholesome food here - including a great stew. There is an interesting menu so I'll be back to try the rest. I know there are quite a few different special nights here as well. There is a Sunday Stitch & B*tch if you're into that, and there... More

Staying in York-Crosstown

Neighbourhood Profile
York-Crosstown is a sleepy area of Toronto dotted gorgeously with hills and farmland, stately homes and parks. An affluent district in parts, the stately houses at Baby Point along Jane Street are especially breathtaking, and make for a lovely wander on a clear day. Parks are bountiful in York-Crosstown, which makes it a vibrant area for outdoor play and sports, providing a break from the hustle of Toronto's busy, jam-packed city center. For a little spice after a walk in the park, the Little Jamaica area of York sports cheap, authentic food from the Caribbean. This area is restful and more orientated towards outdoor activity and the exploration of nature.
