We really enjoyed lunch with friends at Epicure. I had the Chicken Pasta Carbonara- very good. Everyone thought their dishes were great. Very friendly service too.

There were 4 of us for a birthday party. We ordered wine and they didn't have it (3 times). Finally, the server asked me to come to the bar to choose from their selection. We ordered appetizers and our entrees. The appetizers took 40 minutes to arrive at our table and no sooner had they arrived, then the birthday boy's... More

I was here to have a no rush lunch at the weekend so I really enjoyed it. Friendly employee, nice music. Grill Samnon Club with half and half fries and salad was delicious.

We would certainly recommend a... More

Had lunch there on the lovely rooftop patio. It was fantastic!!! Wasn't expecting too much it is in an older building. My friend knew of the place but I wouldn't have gone in otherwise. We each had hamburgers, which were very generous and homemade. We were offered how we wanted them cooked as well - which is a revelation. I... More

The food was excellent, the service was great and the value was good. So why do these folks ruin it by adding a mandatory 18%gratuity to the bill. And they snuck it in with no warning when we made he reservation, no mention on the menu and it was buried in the bill in the hope we would double tip.... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Queen Street and West Queen West
Known as the Art & Design District, West Queen West is one of the most energetic and dynamic of Toronto's neighborhoods. Along with its great modernist museums, clubs, and restaurants, it's home to some of the funkiest specialty shops, ranging from clothing to stationary to collectables, and caters to niche and vintage shoppers of all kinds. That makes it a mecca for creatives, including hobbyists designers, writers, and painters. With ink on their hands and fabric pelts in their bags, visitors to Queen Street traverse the avant-garde blend of historic architecture and ultra-contemporary fare. Home to some of Toronto's chicest hotels and most modish java fixes, busy with street cars, and always suffused with live music drifting onto packed patios at bars and clubs by nightfall, the vibrancy of West Queen West is undeniable.
