I have lived in Toronto forever, but had never been to the Lakeview Restaurant on Dundas St. W. Today that changed. After walking around the hipster-meets-original-Portuguese hood, I worked up an appetite and headed into the Lakeview. It was packed, but there was room at...More

We came here on a Toronto trip as we like Diners Drive In and Dives restaurants from Food network. The meal we saw on the show was "freedom toast" which wasn't available when we came (we got here at 10:30 pm and they stop serving...More

Went here for lunch during a recent visit to Toronto. The menu is ok and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The place could do with a bit of sprucing up though. I get that the decor is in line with a period diner...More

One of the rare places open Christmas Day. Much appreciated that staff worked so we could eat. Thanks. Retro decor but trendy menu. Fun, friendly staff. Enjoyed our visit. Washroom needs facelift but otherwise Recommended.

Went here for dinner with family and friends who enjoyed what they ordered but very disappointing if you are a vegan. Very busy but the service was good.

Good food fast service and reasonable. This is a winning combination. They seem to always be busy. I enjoyed the cornflake chicken.

Not really loud, no. It's a 24/7 restaurant so it's pretty low key.
