We were disappointed in our takeout dinner for 2 persons. The mains were bland and unappealing. The salad was also unappetizing. After one bite, it went into the garbage.

This is one of our favourite neighbourhood restaurants. The food is always fresh and delicious. Service is friendly and fast. We love the cod in tomato sauce and Rosa makes especially for us a seafood medley without pasta that is to die for. A wonderful...placeMore

Because take-out is our only option to enjoy food from 7Numbers, we ordered two of the full course menu. We had so much food, it was amazing. The three salads were all different but complemented each other. The two pastas were very generous portions and...the main courses, one lamb shank and one eggplant parmigana were excellent. Pick up was easy with a table outside so we did not have to enter the restaurant and our dinner was waiting for us at our designated time. Kudos to Rosa and her staff for being able to duplicate the wonderful food that is serviced at this restaurant during normal times.More

The wine and food transports us back to Florence Italy. The sauce is made fresh in the kitchen in the front window! Service is always pleasant and excellent too!!

We tried the new restaurant in Picton. The service was good and the food was terrific. Picton was lacking a family style Italian eatery. The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely be back.

This is a relatively small restaurant. We arrived early and there was no wait for a table. We tried the family style meal which included the sharing of small portions of three pastas, calamari, and three salads as well as any main on the menu....The mains are rather on the small side. The food was very good and the service was exceptional. We will return.More

great and fast service in this small locale, we loved the very large sardines and the calamari (soft, not crisp) as appetizer (small portions), as well as the eggplant parmesan, but the specialty lasagna with beef was not special, even if it felt freshly made....very reasonable prices.More

A lovely family environment with excellent, friendly service! Very good food. Perhaps the lasagna was a bit overcooked and had too much sauce ... ditto for the parmiggiana. This is my only reason for denying the 5 stars. The orecchiette are to die for!! Would...definitely revisit!More

Our friends had booked the "cooking experience" for us (once a month, must pre-reserve) , we were 15 in total. We were greeted with a welcome drink. There was enough space, surrounding a large table set up for our group, to greet and warm up....Rosa, the owner joined us, as well as Tom, who was on a mission to make our dinner party exceptional. And it was! We were invited to prepare the appetizers in the open kitchen under the supervision of Rosa. Grilled calamari, fried zucchini flowers, Buffala with tomatoes and an arugula salad. We sat down for the first round of a three course dinner. The taste was amazing, cooked to perfection. Second course: Pasta Galore. The second batch of "sous chefs" went to kitchen! Seafood linguine, lasagna (OMG!!) and fusilli in a roasted garlic sauce. The quality of the ingredients, the authentic taste of southern Italy. Delightful! Next round! Main dishes: lamb shank with herbs, sea bass in a lemon garlic butter sauce, sexy duck leg and meatballs. Each one of these elaborate dishes would have been enough to satisfy your appetite in the most sophisticated way. Accompanied by rapini and an eggplant gratin (melanzane parmigiana). The atmosphere was amazing, casual and entertaining. Rosa and Tom were engaging everyone. To be served 14 food items of outstanding taste and quality is truly an amazing achievement. The quantities were generous (we had the extra food ready in elegant little containers to take away) and there was no wait or interruption between the courses. Yesterday reminded me of my trip to Puglia and the local food I experienced there. Rosa you rock! Thank you for one of the best culinary and cultural experiences I have had in a long time!More
