My go to ramen spot in Toronto. Been coming here for a bowl of heaven for years and it never disappoints. If it’s your first time trying it out - go for the Red Dragon, that’s if you can handle the heat.

Stopped here for lunch. This is hands down the best ramen i have ever had outside of Japan. Very authentic, amazing quantity (i couldnt finish that massive bowl!)
While I like trying new foods this was my first time trying Ramen. I asked the server for some non spicy suggestions, from these, I and decided to order the Roasted Garlic Shoyu. The Roasted Garlic Shoyu was excellent, very flavourful. The server was very...friendly and helpful and the food was served very quickly. I will be back.More
Hands down best meal I had in Toronto. The aged tofu starter and spicy vegetarian miso ramen (with kale noodles) were both unreal. Gréât, food, great service and great vibe. Long wait and a bit expensive but 100% worth both . Go and enjoy!!!
Ordered takeout. Was craving for some good ramen. Ordered their Spicy Red Miso and Red dragon The dishes were very disappointing Luke warm and very watery
I've eaten here several times. I always try to go here when I go to Toronto. The ramen and broth are both good and the other items are made just right, especially the eggs. Do try the black sesame ice cream for dessert too. So...yummy. This place can fill up very quickly, so I would recommend getting there right when it opens if you can. I've seen up to an hour wait to get seated.More
Came here for the first time with my cousin from B.C. (who apparently knows one of the owners since there is one (or two?) originally in B.C. and they expanded here. Super busy place during dinner time but once you're seated, service is quick and...the ramen broth magnificent! Recommend trying the white sesame spicy Shio ramen.More
Excellent soup bases. Had the spicy red miso ramen and added garlic oil. Karage and gyoza were delish. Excellent service
You can ask for any ramen to be made less salty. Their shoyu is one of the best bowls of ramen I have tasted. Service very good. No wifi here.
On a cold day this was the perfect place to chill before we ventured to the airport to catch our flight home. Very busy, fabulous food& great service!
We had a great time in Isshin! We loved the ramen, the place and the service. Fresh and delicious!!!
The BEST I’ve ever had- and I have a Japantown in my city. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ramen! I got vegetarian- not vegan spicy miso and edamame. I had a few of the delicious Bonito garlic soy sauce edamame before my soup came- but once...I tasted the broth- there was no stopping me! I finished my soup within 30 minutes of being seated, took the edamame to go which was a great snack later! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND joining the yelp waitlist- it is packed!!!!More
Great little spot, popped in on a whim on the drive home. Simple but simply great. Flavours and service were fantastic.
My review may be biased because we usually eat very clean (low oil, low salt), and we have never been to Japan, so we do not know what true Japanese Ramen should taste like. We have eaten at other Ramen shops around town such as...Sensotei, Ajisen, Kinton Ramen, etc. We do find ramen broth to be rather salty in general, however, the broth at Ramen Isshin was extremely salty (3-4 times more than the other Ramen places). The noodle and the egg were excellent but we didn't like the broth or the cha siu. I would not be going back.More
Great choice, couldn't decide! The broth in both our ramens was incredibly good. Get there early, as there's always a queue. Service is friendly, although some waitresses cannot speak much english at all - lots of japanese shouts everywhere! Adds to the authenticity. Would love...to try more dishes another time.More
