Wonderful, I really liked their coffee, it has an excellent location and very good attention. Unfortunately I did not know the site, I met it by coincidence but I loved it. It has an excellent view and the place is very beautiful

Went to Bar Italia for Winterlicious. Its a great way to try new restaurants. The service as great, the lone waiter was wonderful and attentive and also gave our party time to linger as well. We had the booth - the seats were a bit worn and not as comfortable as first thought. The Food - we had ministrone soup... More

I didn't realize this was the same spot where we had hosted a business dinner just a month before in their upstairs private room. One month later I'm here with a friend looking for some espresso and dessert on a weekend evening. Some of the best espresso on the strip, the waiter made a couple perfect recommendations for dessert. A perfect... More

Bar Italia is my favourite Italian restaurant in Toronto! Both the food and customer service are unparalleled. The staff will go to any length to accommodate special requests and make guests feel special. I order from Bar Italia via the Foodora app atleast once a week and find the entire experience very easy. I have a soy allergy and the... More

Our third time at Bar Italia this year; there's a level of comfort, familiarity, and consistency we really appreciate in the food, service, and atmosphere. Some of our favorites: pan seared calamari, pasta Bolognese, chicken parmigiana, and salmon; desserts -- lemon tart, tiramisu, gelato, and chocolate tart. Beer, wine, and cocktail selections are good. There's gluten free options for the... More

We had a big group in the upper private room on business. We weren't too pleased at the timing as each course took a little long to come out however when it did it was exceptional. This is known as a Toronto staple and lives up to reputation.

Second trip here, I enjoyed more then my first. Food seemed fresher and service more efficient. We were greeted at the door, shown our seats and promptly had a server at our table, we had several bottles of wine and for a large group (15 ppl) was impressed that the appetizers got out to the tables so quickly. I would... More

Two of us had the recommended rack of lamb ( note: its not on the menu so ask your server about it.) cooked to perfection. The other two had the Branzino, personal I cant eat anything... More

I visited Bar Italia with friends for a celebratory birthday dinner. Because it was a week night we didn't order drinks and when we received our soda's they tasted awful. I stuck with water while the others ordered something different. The servers were not great.......good.....or even OK. Our main server didn't seem like he wanted to be there and I... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
