We came here for a business dinner with more than 20 people. I dropped by the day before to check on the reservation, and they had already planned out our layout for maximum efficiency. I had my kiddo with me when I checked on the...reservation, so when I showed up to dinner the next day, they had taken care to make space for my stroller and for a high chair. So attentive! The servers were professional, thoughtful, and patient with our large party, and our group received top tier service. Every food item that came out was delicious and despite the chaos of so many people, orders were all accurate! I was so impressed with this place, the staff, and the food. Highly recommend!More

The service was horrible. We had to ask for menus and someone to take our order. The steaks were poorly cooked and the salads mini and not fresh. Spending over $450 for our table when the women only ordered appetizers was a disgrace. This place...has been here for ages and so have the staff. They simply don’t know what international travellers expect in terms of service and respect. Sell your building or upgrade to give Canadians and visitors a pleasant and quality experience. Ever againMore

My steak was cooked to perfection. Everything from the appetizer to the desert was wonderful Thanks so much for the evening We highly recommend this steakhouseMore

Disappointed is a good word to describe our experience. We had seen good reviews and the website looked not that bad. When we arrived at the Fairmont and saw teh Bardi sign across the street, small and faded we began to thnk maybe we should...have looked further into our choice. Our sixth sense was not off. The waiters were worn out as were their clothes, just not much life left in these gentlement and the faded black outfits spoke of a long career that should be thinking of retirement. They were pleasant enough, just tired as their conversation and leaning against the bar could attest to. The place needed paint touchups, there was an actual lamp on table so I had to watch cord so as not to knock it off. The place is in desperate need of some TLC. We don't mind traditional decor and love wood, it was just not taken care of. Ambiance does effect the overall experience. We were also stuck at a table in a corner with a cabinet by the front doors. This place needs a polish and some life breathed back into it. Onto the food, no presentation doesn't begin to describe how our meal was presented. All you get is a russet potato and your steak. Well the steak is cooked to perfection, your plate looks terrible with a big hunk of meat and a huge potato. A gentleman comes by with a dolp of sour cream and some chives. The waiters were talkig by the front doors about customer service issues and complaints. Not something we needed to hear. It was obvious there were problems, this just solidified it. There also oddly was stuff piled everywhere. Very overpriced for what you get. Not a place to bother to visit. It may be time to retire.More

Dinner was great as always. Steak, lobster, appetizers and service was very good. Unfortunately, we encountered guests at the table beside ours who continual dropped the F-Bomb. With our family including our 12 year old grand daughter, it was awful. These four were federal civil...servants with 11 years to go until retirement. They talked up Minister Freeland, interspersed with inappropriate language. I wonder if they would have been OK with us talking in front of their families in the same way. The wait staff did nothing to tone them down and we debated as to whether or not we should call them on it. It over shadowed what should have her a great dinner and get together. We wondered what f it was their cost or the Canadian taxpayer that financed their lie-life behaviour and meal.More

Food quality is very good. Steaks are cooked to perfection and to one's preference. Sides are plentiful. French onion soup is highly recommended as is the starter cheese & garlic toast. The artisanal bread they use certainly tasted authentic too. I had the green peppercorn...steak which was tender and delicious. Our last meal together with my teenage kids before a 3 weeks lockdown that has closed all inside dining. Well worth it.More

This was a lovely 25’th anniversary dinner for my husband and me. The steak was perfectly cooked, service impeccable for both attentiveness and promptness. I do wish they had a drink menu- apparently they do not. We had a late seating, (8:15 pm) so between...that and covid distancing for tables, the atmosphere was rather dull. However we had a quiet and romantic dinner, which was the goal. They brought us a complementary dessert for our anniversary which was a nice touch. We live in Ottawa, but will visit when we travel to Toronto again.More

As a resident of Toronto, I've walked past Bardi's countless times and I finally tried it recently. Bardi's is small, intimate and traditional - in service style, menu offerings and decor. If you're looking for a chic, current vibe this isn't the place for you....But if you're downtown - particularly if you're a traveller and staying in a nearby hotel - you'll find the steaks of a high quality, well-prepared with a price point that is average for this type of meal. Old school yes, but a solid choice for today!More

Opening at 5:00pm on a Saturday we were shown to our seats upstairs. Classic, “old school” ambiance. Service was impeccable. Timing and pace for the start of the game was perfect. The Caesar salad was a bit boring but the steaks were pretty great. The...brussel sprouts side dish was excellent too.More

Bardi's Steak House was right next door to our hotel so we decided to try it. Glad we did! This is an upscale restaurant, very nice for a special ocassion or business dinner. Our waiter was friendly, the shrimp cocktail was amazing and our steak...was cooked as ordered, tender and delicious.More

Went in here with some friends looking for good food and I can tell you that this place right here is where you find the best steak in Toronto. I had the ‘Bardi special’ and boy!!!! What I have been eating at mid class restaurants...like joey’s and moxies and co was really just meat. Go here and eat something you’ll never forget. The steaks are not 30$ but you get amazing value for your money with super professional service. Can’t stop spreading the good news about here😋😋. I have seen the light, you should too😄More

Dropped by around 5:30 this past Tuesday. I ordered a New York Strip for $54 along with rice and mushrooms. The steak was cooked medium as requested and was tender but it was VERY salty. The rice was bland and the waiter forgot to order...the mushrooms. The restaurant was empty which should have been my first clue. A steak without mushrooms is like a cake without icing. It's inexcusable! They suggested I wait while they rush through an order of mushrooms. Then eat a cold steak! I don't think so! As for the rice....try adding some flavor instead of boiling the crap out of it! Save your money folks and go anywhere else!More
